EVANS MARINE INTERNATIONAL

We have had Simon's yard work on our barge over winter and have been very pleased with the professionalism and promptness of the work that they did. We have also been in situations outside of the yard where we have called on Simon for assistance which has been readlily forcomming and, again, prompt.

We have used Evans Marine on three occasions over the last four years. Twice for minor repair work in the water and once for a full out of water survey. We found Simon very easy to work with and extremely helpful. They are also very reasonable with their prices.

I took my Dutch barge to Evans Marine in August 2017 and was very impressed with the high quality of work done. The staff were very professional and friendly and Simon Evans in particular could not have been more helpful. In the course of the work being done certain problems came to light and these were dealt with promptly and efficiently. The barge, weighing 28 tonnes, was due for an insurance inspection and was lifted out of the water without difficulty. Simon completed a comprehensive inspection which was followed by a detailed report, including a hull thickness test. Simon and his staff were always available to give good advice, which proved invaluable. Just as we were about to leave in the barge an urgent problem with the exhaust came to light and despite it being late in the afternoon all the staff helped to rectify the matter, staying late to complete it. Very many thanks to Simon, Mark and Roger! I can thoroughly recommend this yard to anyone who needs work or inspections done, and at a fair price.
