Champagne Lancelot-Pienne

Wow! a wonderful afternoon spent at this small champagne producer in Cramant. Their dedication and love for champagne was evident in this very interesting visit. The tasting was excellent and we were offered four excellent curvés and we really got to understand the history and ambition of the son and his father. We enjoyed views from the large tasting room and will certainly return when next in the area. Thankyou for such an amazing afternoon.

Excellent visit at this small but passionate producer in Cramant. We met both, charming father and handsome son, owners of the house, and they transmitted all their dedication and love for champagne in a very interesting visit. We went from the vineyards where we learnt about the grapes, to the still wine tanks where we tasted many wines, then to the cellars to see the process of aging the bottles, we were invited to see a live hand disgorgement (à la volée) and taste the freshly open bottle, and finished into the large tasting room with incredible views of the valley. The tasting was amazing, we were offered all the possible cuvées, and we really were able to understand the philosophy of the house. A 5 stars visit! Thank you!

Our visit was successful beyond imagination. Amazing attitude, professional explanations, Julien made us feel at home with amazing service, the champagnes are amazing and they gave us a generous taste. Excellent experience and highly recommended.

Magnificent place.. Beautiful view.. And excellent choice of champagnes.. Julien guided us through the vines, cave and explained us about the whole process of the making in Layman's terms. Et la cerise sur le gateau.. Champagne tasting.. Not to forget the ratafia at the end.. ( not yet commercialised, but I already love it).. I ll be waiting for it to hit the market..

We had an intimate tour and tasting with Julian. We learned about the process plus how they make their champagne unique to their own. They produce champagne with a lot of character and the view from the tasting room was amazing.

When one finds a diamond, do you share its beauty and majesty with the world, or do you keep it secret? I'm choosing the former.Touring with Julien is one of my favorite things to do each time I come to Champagne. I haven't been to every tasting room in Champagne, but I'm fairly certain this has to be one of the most breathtaking views. This family producer is very kind, open, and a chill vibe. Come and listen to their stories, be part of the magic of their land, and appreciate their craft.
