About as near as you can get to the Chateau, and it's free (or was?). However it's at the far end of the chateau grounds and you have to walk around it (either way, but clockwise is shorter) to get to the public entrance.There are toilets at the parking, which were relatively clean and hygenic.Expect competition for places at busy periods. And coaches take up a fair portion of the space too.
