Hôtel Alfred Sommier
I stayed here this summer for a couple days. The hotel is breathtaking from the moment you step foot outside & inside. The service was awesome & they were very polite and patient, as it was my first time in Paris. The location of the hotel is just perfect. It is in the middle of all of the famous attractions & was not that long of a walk to them. I would definitely stay here again.

I spent the best days of my life in this hotel and I thank the owner, but unfortunately the people working there will try to exploit you and take money from you just because you are Arab! When I left, I told them not to order a taxi for us, but they ordered it for me at a price of 91 euros! I could have gone to the airport for less than that, unfortunately

We truly enjoyed our stay. Very calm and quiet hotel, whilst a lot of people were there. Great bed, perfect shower and amenities. Two things to note for a hotel at this rate. We asked for pressing/ironing of my wife’s dress up to three times, but it was never collected nor ironed. We ended up going to the reception asking for an iron and a board. Secondly, the breakfast itself is great and good value for money. Breakfast logistics is not great. Two days in a row we had to wait for a table, see people jump the queue who just enter the breakfast restaurant and take a seat. Preparing a cappuccino takes 10 minutes - for two days this was the case. All good and we’ll surely come back, but as said this can be improved.

This hotel felt like Paris. It was unique, had phenomenal staff and we even got a greeting from the owner upon arrival. He was a very nice and distinguished gentleman.The rooms were like stepping into a Time Capsule. Full of character. High ceilings and beautiful Juliet Balcony facing the courtyard.The service was spectacular. Day and night the staff went above and beyond.I stayed right in Champs Elysées last time so location was a bit different for me but still close enough to all the items you need to get to.Highly recommend.

A private oasis in the middle of Paris. We didn’t realize how convenient and well situated we were until we started walking to our different destinations. The rooms are well appointed in what used to be a family mansion. The conversion to hotel offers all the amenities and our rooms quite large. A quiet courtyard for breakfast or drinks adds to its intimacy. Enjoyed our visit.

During our recent stay, the staff at this beautiful Hotel were once again, extraordinary. This is by far our favorite property to stay at, this is a result of the combination of the fabulous building, paired with an exceeding well trained and kind staff. We greatly appreciate the staff's attention to detail, professionalism and kindness, they truly are special. We look forward to our next stay at this remarkable Hotel.

Lovely 19th century historic hotel near La Madeleine, originally a mansion for a wealthy man and his family, who had made his fortune with sugar. Still run by a descendant of the family, the hotel has classic period features in a fantastic, central Paris location. Room was clean and sufficiently roomy, although they did not give us the two single beds requested for me and my son. Bathroom ample with good amenities. Staff attentive and helpful. For people with mobility issues, entry into the hotel was a bit challenging, having to take an elevator down to one floor, and then another up. Think it is a good price for the quality and location of the hotel.

This review is coming from the point of view of a New Yorker, so my standards are high.Stayed here with my wife for the occasion of our 10th anniversary. The staff was incredibly cordial and professional, and our check-in process was seamless. I speak a little French but it wasn't necessary at all - employees speak English perfectly. Also, don't fall into the trap of thinking all French people are rude - the staff at this hotel were impeccably friendly.Rooms were perfectly clean with comfortable beds and linens, a small mini-fridge, and suitable closet space which stores an ironing board and iron. If you are an American who is used to hotel chains in the States you'll find the rooms small, but not cramped. If you're from New York, you'll feel at home.Hotel common space was quiet; it was vintage, updated, and charming all at the same time. We visited the back bar, which was very comfortable, but did not stay for a drink as we had other plans.The surrounding area is great for tourism, with short and medium length walks to plenty of attractions and shopping. Local restaurants and cafes are steps away. Exploring is very easy and fulfilling.We felt completely comfortable in every way in this hotel, and when I return to Paris I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had perfect experience at this chic, cozy, authentic and unique family run hotel in a beautiful suite, facing the garden. The entire team is very friendly, positive and professional. The owner of the hotel opened the doors of his home with the rebuilt in 2018 and his heart to each guest, who he is approaching personally with curiosity and interest. The hotel gives the feeling that you live in Paris as a real Parisian with a lot of style, old and new spirit, high ceilings, a sip of gold and beautiful Parisian floors. The dining room is homey and magnificent at the same time. The breakfast is very freshand you can find perfect French cheese and fresh baguette, or have your favorite eggs. I loved the sustainability in everything and the focus on local products. Thank you Mr. de Warren and team for this exclusive experience and your hospitality!
