L'Atelier Planqué

Un accueil fantastique, un petit cocon bien caché dans un jardin magnifique...une adresse insolite avec une décoration du meilleur goût. Le confort du lieu et le petit déjeuner servi par les propriétaires aux petits soins qui vous conseilleront sur la région ne fait qu’ajouter au charme de cette adresse à ne surtout pas manquer!! Nous reviendrons!

It is obvious that they have spent the time and effort to understand what discerning guests want from accommodation, and they have taken a lot of care with the small things that matter.It is an oasis of quiet and calm in an old workshop thoughtfully restored to a very high standard at the rear of their garden. We had one of our best night’s sleep in years there. And what a delightful garden! Arriving late evening, we were greeted by the delicious scent of jasmine and other plants as we crossed the courtyard garden to our own entrance.Anne and David are excellent and discretely attentive hosts. Detailed information allowed us to let ourselves in when we arrived very late. A midnight snack was left for us, which was a touching and welcome treat after a long day of driving - thank you!The location is perfect for visiting the centre of Le Mans. Just a few minutes walk takes you to the main shopping and eating areas. The street is very, very quiet. There is free parking available in the square at the end of the road (about 50m away).The accommodation is on two levels with toilet, sofa, TV, fridge, table, kettle and coffee machine downstairs. Up the steep stairs is the generous and very comfortable bed, shower area and sink.The bedding and towels are high quality and new.The breakfast was delicious and generous, with drinks provided exactly as we asked - a rare and valued detail that many hosts fail to do well.We cannot recommend a stay at L’Atelier Planqué highly enough. It is everything that we wish for when staying away from home.
