The worst residence to live in Toulouse: One of the most expensive in the city, lacking basic facilities, very bad service and faith. They do not care at all about your apartment, only charge you. The only good thing is that the building is brand new. Avoid at any cost, you will find better and cheaper apartments out there.

I stayed in Studea Toulouse Compans Caffarelli, which is at 23bis rue du Bearnais. Under any circumstances would I recommend choosing this or any accommodation run by Nexity Studea. In fact, I would recommend to run like hell in the opposite direction. I feel like Nexity Studea are liars and bastards. The information on their website (as well as on other websites that advertise them, such as Adele) is false and misleading.There is no breakfast service and there is no cafeteria. After I complained a bit, they hang a leaflet offering a breakfast service for 4 or 4.5 euros for those who register by signing on the leaflet. However, the time of breakfast is not written, and the place of the breakfast is not written, which makes it an unknown, since there is no cafeteria.Regarding the internet, there was no internet for more than a month after I arrived. My contract began more than a month before, so there was probably no internet at least 2.5 months. They said that it’s because the internet operator, Wifirst, is supposed to fix a technical problem. But no technical problem takes this long to fix. I’m sure that it’s just because Nexity Studea didn’t want to pay for the internet service when there were only few students in the accommodation. The internet is still very problematic, especially in hours when everybody is trying to use it. Sometimes there is a disruption every 2 minutes. It could take an hour to send a miserable email and it’s virtually impossible to watch movies or listen to music those times. What’s more, the wifi is very weak in the study/work place in the apartment.I booked an apartment on a certain floor for good reasons, but they gave me an apartment on another floor. When I complained about it, they said that the number of apartment is in the contract. Well, how am I suppose to know that apartment #… is on this floor and not on the other?! When I saw that there is an opening on the floor I wanted, I asked them to move there, but they said it’s impossible because of ‘administrative reasons’. It seems almost as if they are trying to keep me in an apartment I don’t like and that is less suitable for me, and make my staying less pleasant.When I moved in, I bought a ventilator and had to assemble it. I asked them to lend me a Philips screwdriver for 5 minutes the next time the maintenance guy is in the building. They answered that they don’t provide a screwdriver service in the apartments. Very bad faith response.I asked them to refund me for those things (floor number, internet and breakfast), but they didn’t give me a direct answer. What’s more, several times they have just ignored my emails.They continued to advertise the misleading information even after I complained about it. Also the Adele website didn’t bother to correct the information presented on their website even after I notified them of the falseness of the information.It’s very difficult to move after the first period because they offered a rent free February, in return to start the contract in early July. So If I’ll move to another residence before March, I’ll have to pay an extra month. Plus, I have/had to wait for the OFII letter and a letter from the bank.The room itself is well furnished (probably beside three things: 1. the shower, which has no place for a soap and its floor is not a step under the rest of the bathroom; 2. the lack of place to handle food; and 3. there is no one big closet to put all the cloths and linens in, so I have to split them into three places). But the room is absolutely not inviting, not cheerful and not hospitable. And the walls are so thin that you could hear someone pissing.There is a construction site right next to the building and right in front of my apartment. It doesn’t look like the construction is going to end anytime soon. This is something else that they neglected to mention on their website.Update: It seems that they refunded the students for the internet. It changes only a bit what I think, because I think it was only because of a decline in applications, due to those events.

J'ai habité dans cette résidence d'étudiants pendant l'année scolaire 2019/2020. Le bâtiment est bien situé à Toulouse et il est très bien équipé. On peut dire qu'il est bien au niveau esthétique. À mon avis le problème est lié à la gestion de la résidence. J'ai du envoyer beaucoup de mails pour récupérer ma garantie parce qu'ils disent qu'il y avait un montant sans régler mais ils ne m'ont pas dit à quel date correspond ce montant là. Ils ne me répond plus à mes mails. Personne ne m'a donné une réponse. De plus, il y avait plusieurs erreurs dans les contrats de loyer. Cette entreprise est une véritable pagaille. Je ne engagerai plus leur service, c'est sûr.He vivido en esta residencia de estudiantes durante el año escolar 2019/2020. El edificio está bien situado en Toulouse y está muy bien equipado. Se puede decir que está bien a nivel estético. En mi opinión el problema está relacionado con la gestión de la residencia. Tuve que enviar un montón de correos para recuperar mi garantía porque dicen que había una cantidad sin pagar pero no me dijeron a qué fecha correspondía esa cantidad. Ya no me contestan mis correos. Nadie me ha dado una respuesta justificada ni una solución. Además, había varios errores en los contratos de alquiler. Tenía que estar siempre pendiente de que todo estuviera en orden porque siempre me encontraba con algún error. Esta empresa es un verdadero desastre. No contrataría más su servicio, eso seguro.
