Bottom line: if you're in Paris, stay here if there is availability!! It is my favorite city hotel that I have ever stayed in.I cannot say enough good things about this hidden gem of a hotel. To begin, you truly cannot get better location wise. It is in the heart of one of the best areas in Paris, and it is extremely easy to get anywhere else in the city from here. The metro is literally steps from the hotel, as is the Seine, which makes it easy to cross over to explore both sides of the river. The quality of my stay was wonderful, too. To begin, the hotel has the rare combination of historical charm that comes with age (it is located in a very old building with 14th century roots), and modern, clean interior. I was frankly surprised by the modernity of the rooms; you'd never know the building was so old. You can't ask for more in Paris! The AC worked perfectly, the rooms have everything you might need (hair dryer, for example, and even a little desk), and the beds are extremely comfortable. The pictures do not do the rooms justice. While you can get a sense of the quirky and unique decor from photos, the rooms feel much larger in person. I was worried the bathroom might be too small, but there was plenty of room. Finally, the family that runs the hotel is an absolute delight. I had the pleasure of meeting Kiana and her partner, who were extraordinarily kind and welcoming. I felt immediately at home. When I had an issue come up regarding potential need for a stay later in my trip, they went above and beyond to help me. I was touched by their hospitality. In sum, if you have a chance to stay here, do it. You will not regret it!!

This hotel was a big part of us enjoying our visit to Paris so much. Extremely well located near shops, restaurants, metro line right out front. The neighbourhood was extremely charming and Notre Dame just a brief walk away. The room was luxurious and we had the best sleeps there, already miss the bed. The concierge was always friendly and helpful, responding to our requests. Perfect stay from start to finish. Would absolutely go back!

The rooms look just like the pictures. The room and the bathtub were great. I can't tell about breakfast because I didn't take it.However, the hotel is not accessible (very narrow hallway and stairs, no ramps). There is also one or two annoyances, at least on room 12: it's located just above a bar, and people smoke enough outside of the said bar that the smoke smell reaches the room, even with all windows closed all the time. So... Good room for heavy smokers. The second annoyance of that particular room is noise (we heard music on Friday and Saturday until way after the bar closes (2am).And finally, the curtains, although thick, don't block the light completely, so if light disturbs your sleep, you may not sleep well. The bed and pillows were great.Overall I would probably have liked the hotel a lot more if I was in a different room on the other side of the hotel.

I would highly recommend Temple de Jeanne as a hotel to stay in when visiting Paris. Beautiful rooms, which are extremely clean and with a very comfortable bed. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating at all times. The location is perfect, close to Notre Dame and the Metro and it is in a very beautiful area of Paris, with lots of cafes and patisseries.

Back in January I was traveling solo. The staffs were so lovely and friendly to me. They're also super helpful! The location is excellent (right next to the saint paul exit) / the bed is very comfortable / the bathroom is very clean and relatively new. I would say the single room isn't big but def enough space for one person. There is an elevator so you need not to worry about carrying the luggages all the way up or down. Probably just a few stairs before going into your room. Since it's an old buidling in central Paris, the staircase is quite small and steep. The elevator is a plus.Would go back next time when I'm visiting!

I've stayed in a lot of different hotels in Paris during the past 25 years since I moved to Switzerland and this had it all. Adorably decorated room, friendly staff and superb location. The hotel literally has the Saint Paul métro right outside the front door, it could not be more convenient. I will definitely be back!

Very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I read about it by looking at a nearby hotel review and a guy recommended this one instead, so I booked it.Generally Paris hotels suck, let’s be honest. But this one is charming, clean, extremely well located for those who want to be in the Marais and the staff is very friendly. I had the room with the round bed, it was spacious and with all the necessary amenities, including a Nespresso machine. Great shower, a lift and aircon in the room. Highly recommended.
