Budget Location Voiture - Aéroport Bordeaux

The worst rental experience I have ever had!!! Beware of the scam when returning your car. The agents will not give you a receipt while you are there. And then you will see an exuberant amount charged against your credit card by Avis and not Budget --- in my case 50% more.They do not provide with a receipt either. I just had to call the US customer line to get a copy. And no one here can explain why I was overcharged.

WARNING do not rent from this office. Someone internal is making major errors and tried to get me to ssend my credit card details to them directly. If you try to call the number listed it doesn't work. When I returned my car it wasn't even under my name!! 4 day realt charged me 1000 euro! I still cannot get in touch despite emails and calls. the avis- budget sister company disaster needs to be avoided!

We booked a 9 seater vehicle expecting it to be ready on our arrival as we are asked what time we will be arriving, it wasn't ready and we had to wait for an hour with an 18 month in the cold, not ideal. When the vehicle arrived I thought it had been in a stock car race, mirror broken, scratches and bumps on the body, the drivers seat non operational apart from forwards and backwards, food debris on the inside, front tyres that looked they had come from a scrapyard. We took the vehicle as we didn't want to wait around for a possible replacement, to top it all off I am still having funds taken from my credit card and I haven't got a clue what they are for. (Trying to sort this out with customer services!) We even took the vehicle back with additional fuel. probably the worst car hire experience i have had, I wrote directly to Budget to get their feedback but obviously this was swept under the carpet. Very dissapointed, think carefully, Budget means exactly that. Budget.

The pick-up and the drop-off of the vehicle went fast and smoothly, the car I got was fine, but I am very dissatisfied with the charging process. The safety deposit which was blocked on my credit card before the collection of the vehicle still hasn't been unblocked, more than a week after the car was returned and the full rental price was charged. I am still waiting for the reply from the customer service, but I am of the opinion that the safety deposit should be unblocked as soon as the car is returned and checked.Until my money is unblocked and until I get a reply, my feedback and experience with the company will remain negative.

I booked an EV Car for our road trip through France. However, no one told me I would need a special RFID card sent to a physical address to be able to charge the car at EV charging stations. I had even asked the operator on pickup however he just said its easy". Once I realised I could not charge the car

Suite à une location de voiture auprès de l'agence Budget, nous avons oublié nos papiers dans la boîte à gant. Nous avons sollicité le service client à de nombreuses reprises et nous n'avons aucun retour à ce jour. Les numéros que l'on vous communique sur le contrat ne réponde jamais et ils ne sont jamais joignable. Dans le cas où nous arrivons à avoir une personne , nous avons gonflé notre facture téléphonique car il y a une attente interminable. Donc je vois conseil cette agence mais pas de ne pas avoir de problème avec eux. Dommage.

Je vais leur faire une pub sur tous les réseaux car ils nous ont prélevé 250 euros pour une rayure sur la voiture que nous n'avons pas faite. On avait pris en photo avant de partir toute la voiture. Ils ont osé nous répondre que les photos n'étaient pas nettes alors qu'on voit parfaitement. VOLEUR ET ESCROCS

First, after I had paid and been given the number plate of my car, we had to wait about 20 minutes for it to be driven round from the garage. I'd been told to wait inside with my wife because we had a baby with us and it was 35 degrees outside, but because it was taking so long I went outside to check on the status, and good job I did because they were about to give my car to a different family who had booked a smaller car -they were loading their luggage as I walked out! Then I was directed to a smaller car, without indication of a refund of any sort, so I demanded my originally booked car. 2 minutes later and the car would have been gone!Now I've received notice of a €42 admin fee for dealing with a fine (not even the value of the fine) of a driving offence while my car was parked with a valid ticket. The payment will apparently be taken in 10 days, but it might take months to find out what offence I've apparently committed, but which time even if I contest and demonstrate it to be invalid, I can only assume Avis/Budget will not refunding or waiving the admin fee.Not a great experience all round. The car itself was very clean and I had no problems with, once I had managed to avoid it being given away to someone else.

BEWARE! Do not rent from Budget. If something goes wrong with the car rental you are potentially looking at money coming out of your pocket that may not be paid back as well as months of aggravation and wasted hours spent on the phone and with emailing. Use a different company.

Evitez absolument cette agence location se sont des VOLEURS. ils ont débités ma carte d'un plein de carburant alors que cela avait été effectué au préalable à la station extérieur. Depuis de les joindre en agence, mails, téléphone, service client et siège. à croire qu'ils font un trafic de carburant. je les atteint j'ai tous les justificatifs. !!!
