Great safe location. Very friendly gentleman at the reception desk. The room was great and clean.There is no elevator, so make sure you travel light. A great wine bar and Alsacian restaurant next door. Lots of shops and restaurants around. 20-30 minutes from the train station.

J’habite dans le sud et je viens régulièrement à Metz à l Hotel du centre que j’apprécie particulièrement pour son emplacement au cœur de la ville. Les chambres sont grandes et le petit déjeuner copieux. Pour parfaire tout cela le jeune homme à l’accueil est très sympathique. Je le recommande sans problème.

An excellent stay at a good price. Very central location, the room was more than adequate and the staff were friendly, hospitable and helpful. At night the street was very quiet. I'd be very happy to return.

We stayed in the hotel last December and we really had a good time!The hotel is in the amazing location close to restaurants, bars, shops, and sights. It's also a 15 minutes walk from the train station.We also had a delicious breakfast every morning!

Charming, clean, comfy room with separate shower and toilet rooms. On busy street so can get noisy and looks right into building across the road. Service was friendly and helpful. Great price for great location.

Very disrespectful and unfriendly workers. I don't suggest anyone to come here. If u want a great place to stay and to enjoy your stay at metz then DO NOT visit this hotel. Worst decision in my whole entire life.

What a wonderful stay we had. If you want a hotel that is quaint, charming, affordable and feels like a part of the city instead of a sterile chain hotel this is the place for you. I do need to mention there is no lift and if you can't do stairs this isn't the place for you. Also, no mini bar and no air con. We stayed there for four nights in August and the fan was sufficient for us but then again we are from a hot climate. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with your typical European confined shower. For us this is a gem of a hotel with superb hosts that were friendly, helpful and kind as you could ask for. I also need to mention that if you are a light sleeper and easily disturbed by street noise this also might not be quite the right choice.The hotel is indeed in the center of it all with very good restaurants within easy walking distance. A covered market and a commercial shopping center were both just a couple blocks away as well as the amazing cathedral. This town was made for walking so please get out and enjoy it. One of our great joys was searching out some the excellent croissants and baguettes at the boulangeries as well as locally produced cheeses. The train station is a relatively flat 10 minute walk.The hotel arranged covered parking for our bicycles for a small fee that was close by. The flat screen tv worked fine as did the wifi...which is more than many hotel chains can say.We very much hope to return next year.
