We were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant because it had hardly been reviewed. We had the set menu that started with the best green salad leaves we have had in Chamonix, with olive bruschetta, roasted red peppers and a triangle of goats cheese in pastry. We then had a ballotine of chicken with wild mushrooms and a tiny tower of chunky mashed potatoes. Delicious! We ended with a molten chocolate cake, small enough not to feel bad, with drips of raspberry sauce. The service is cute rather than stiffly professional and the fizzy water badly needed ice. But it was all very pleasant.

Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Der Service war sehr nett und aufmerksam, vielleicht etwas unsicher weil der Manager unruhig hin und hergelaufen ist. Da wäre ich sicherlich auch unsicher!Das Essen war wirklich lecker! Ich habe eine poke-bowl mit Lachs und die Schnecken als Vorspeise gegessen!Die Atmosphäre ist schön und der Preis angemessen! Wir würden wieder kommen!

Poor food, even poorer service. Ordered the “basse cote marinere, cuisson lente, poelee de legumes d’hiver” which was translated as “marinated beef slow cooked with vegetables” on the menu. The beef chuck was served blue and cold. As it was not what I was expecting from the description - I expected fully cooked beef cooked with vegetables, maybe similar to a stew. I asked for it to be changed to another main. Server said they’d change it but I have to pay for another main. We asked to see the manager, who insisted that the beef was cooked in the cooking method as described. His attitude left little to be desired. But he did change it to something else without charging for the beef, after I said I wasn’t paying for the beef. I’ve since checked the description with two French friends and both agree it should be cooked and definitely not blue and cold. The replacement main I got - the rotisserie chicken - was bland and rubbery. Food here is a complete waste of time and calories.

Repas plutôt bon mais froid. Mauvaise organisation, personnel peu agréable sauf exception. Parts inégales, café qui déborde dans une tasse sale... Extrêmement déçue...
