Gare d'Annecy

The station looks exciting when viewed from the main road.The waiting area for travellers awaiting their trains is small with limited seating.The station has 1 toilet each for males and females and they stink.The station has a chez jean store and a couple of vending machines. In addition there are machines that sell train tickets.While signages are prominent, access to platforms can be a nightmare what with small lifts that can accomodate a couple of travelers wire luggage.My train arrived on time.

Accueil très moyen pour ce qui est des guichets concernant les bus. Notre voie de bus étant très mal indiquée et n'étant pas du coin j'ai été me renseigner au guichet. La personne à l'accueil ne trouvait apparemment pas ma question judicieuse et me l'a bien fait sentir avec le plus grand des mépris.

Je trouve la gare super, je n’ai rien à redire sur l’entièreté des services sauf pour une chose !Toutes les fois où je suis venue à la gare d’Annecy et que j’ai du utiliser les toilettes, il y’a quasiment toujours des soucis de propreté ou d’odeurs persistantes.

Monsieur le Maire écologiste, pensez aux personnes âgées qui prennent le train à Annecy en vélo.C'est bien de mettre des pistes cyclables mais il faudrait mettre des ascenseurs adaptés aux vélos.Pour monter les escaliers, c'est une horreur avec des vélos.Les touristes sont furieux.Bien cordialement.

Gare très sale, les sièges sont abîmés, il fait froid.Le gros point noir de cette gare sont les toilettes ; il n’y en a seulement 2, un pour les hommes et un pour les femmes (ce qui n’est absolument pas respecté), ils sont toujours très sales, des odeurs nauséabondes persistes à chaque fois que je suis venue dans cette gare.Fortement dommage pour une gare de grande ville …Le seul point positif est l’amabilité des agents SNCF, et des agents des services proposés à la gare.

Pretty decent station with the bus station on the side. It's about 8-10 minutes walk to the old town area. Overall it's not run down like so many other stations in other cities.

Merci au monsieur du guichet d'être beaucoup plus précautionneux dans son travail !Nous étions deux et avons fait un echange de 2 billets. Il a jeté par mégarde le billet de mon accompagnant qui l'a réclamé et en plus de ça le processus d'achat de mon billet n'a pas été validé et a entraîné un soucis au contrôle du train. (Le billet a été remis en vente alors qu'on l'avait acheté et imprimé au guichet par le monsieur).Bref guichet à éviter.

If you’re planning on going to geneva, beware - works are planned from 09/18 9:00 a.m. to 10/06 4:00 p.m. between Annecy-La Roche/Foron-Annemasse.Beware, even though you’re booking a journey on SBB app you’ll likely be put on a bus, which isn’t the most comfortable for intercity journeys and is more like a short-distance bus!Overall, highly inconvenient, means getting a bus journey of 1.30-1.45 instead.Why these works can’t be done overnight is a mystery.The private Flix bus from the station is another option but isn’t very regular, frequently late (once by two hours), and once the driver insisted we sit upstairs (which was packed already) but for no good reason and when questioned on this point changed tack and was ok with myself and others sitting downstairs.

The station looks good from outside and with amenities like a clean toilet and vending machines for tickets and food. But the service here is not very good.For public transportation, it is very difficult to find bus tickets. We had to search a lot before we got the information that we can buy tickets only on the bus or through SMS. There is no provision of a day pass and even the tourism office was closed when we visited.Annecy is such a beautiful place but its services can be improved.
