La Route du Miam
Absolutely delicious food and amazing service! The specialty is duck (the best I’ve ever had so far) but they have other options as well. We had a great time. The owners are really friendly and attentive, and give good recommendations on what to eat and drink. Finally, they both speak French and English. Highly recommended! I would gladly go to this restaurant again.

Plats succulents, ambiance familiale et accueillant, conseils et renseignements plus que pertinents... je peux affirmer sans hésiter que c'est un (voir LE) meilleur restaurant de Nice, un incontournable a absolument faire.Merci milles fois à Marie et Jean mi pour leur gentillesse et la passion qu'ils mettent dans leur cuisine.

The restaurant is quite small and intimate, with just six tables in a dim lit room opened to the kitchen. The wife of the chef waits on the tables and gives precious tips for ordering and is very friendly. She made us feel welcome and just like we were part of their extended family. The chef frequently comes out of the kitchen to crack jokes and receive his compliments.The food was sublime, probably the best duck I have ever eaten. The portion was big, so big I couldn’t finish it, but believe me I wanted to.All in all, a beautiful experience in Nice and amazing food.

The restaurant is small, so it's probably a good idea to make a reservation a few days in advance. We did it through the restaurant's Facebook page and the owner was really responsive.When we arrived we just followed the owner's recommendations and had a really good time and a fantastic meal. I won't even bother explaining how good the food was, it's definitely a must-visit when you're in Nice. The wine selection was also great :)

Visited this hidden gem in April 2023. It is out of the tourist area but can still be accessed easily by tram. Its specialty is duck in traditional recipes. The chef and his wife are super friendly and chatty. We ordered #2 duck, lamb shank and a small bottle of red wine. Huge portion and need to pack left over. The dishes were quite heavy and slightly greasy. But overall. It was a very enjoyable dinning nightP.S. Our reservation was made via email

Meilleur restaurant de France !!Dépaysant, familiale et authentique. En plein cœur de Nice vous trouverez un havre de paix pour découvrir la merveilleuse cuisine du sud ouest. Le restaurateur est un vrai chef, de base n’aimant pas le canard, chez lui je termine mon assiette. Le plat est très très généreux et le goût est au rendez-vous. Pour ceux qui auraient des doutes il faut y aller !! Vous serez surpris de découvrir le canard sous un meilleur jour. Le rapport qualité prix se vaut vu la qualité des ingrédients et les portions généreuses. En plus, le couple qui tient le restaurant est très humain, on s’y sent bien, comme chez soi. On trouve des places pour se garer si l’on vient assez tôt et le quartier est vraiment tranquille. Je ne remercierai jamais assez les restaurateurs pour cette magnifique soirée qui nous fait voyager !!! Je vous recommande ce lieu, que ce soit en famille ou entre amis !

What a surprise. If you like duck, you CAN'T go back home without going first to this restaurant. That restaurant made my whole stay in Nice.I ate the roast duck 1.It's just incredibly tasty.Enjoy!!
