I've had the pleasure of both performing & attending multiple Countdown Comedy nights. A great range of comedians and themes. The MCs always put a lot of work into making sure everyone has a good experience & I'd recommend dropping by if you're in central Brussels

Countdown Comedy Club was my first-ever open mic, first as an audience member and then as a performer. It's a great place to have a good laugh and a drink, make new friends or take a plunge into the world of stand-up as a performer, with support and advice from other comedians.Tristan is a great and welcoming showrunner who does a great job to ensure the show runs smoothly and the space is safe for both comedians and audience member. A great alternative to drinks in Place du Luxembourg on a Thursday night!

I always love coming to Countdown, whether it's to perform or watch the other comedians! Did my first ever gig there and I still consider it one of my favourite spots!

Countdown is where I first started attending comedy shows in Brussels, it's the first place I performed, it's the first place I fell in love (okay, that's a lie but it could happen, that's how great it is!). It's an awesome community of comedians, and Tristan (the host) is kind, funny, and welcoming. Definitely recommended for a Thursday night out. :)

I have seen countless Countdown shows and can always count on them to make me laugh. This show is a place where both experienced comedians and novices share a stage to hone their craft in a supportive and positive environment.Perfect spot for a fun night out or for comedians who are open to growing and improving their material!

I've been to Countdown many times. It's one of my absolute favorite Open Mics. A great place to test stuff. And that's because Tristan makes sure all people have a good time. There's a lot of places to go hear bigoted racist jokes performed by not yet ready wannabes who get offended by criticism. But who wants to see that? That's what Twitter is for. Countdown is a place of weird absurdist Belgian comedy welcome to everyone - except bigots.

Excellent comedy night with a revolving roster of fresh and veteran comedians from Brussels and abroad. Great crowd work from the host. Perfect for tourists and residents alike. The bar is a good size venue for a comedy show and has Zinnebir on tap.

Having performed in hundreds of shows in continental Europe, Countdown is definitely one my favourite clubs. The organisers are always invested not only in putting on a good show but also in creating an enjoyable experience for the comics. The audience and the stuff is among the friendliest you can find.

I've been a stand-up comic and regular event attendee. Countdown Comedy Club is a staple event for expats and students alike, providing laughs in a safe and inclusive environment.Oh, and don't let those COMEDY HAS GONE WOKE!!!" comments put you off. If you're into that kind of "comedy" where racial slurs and sexist comments are abundant

Fantastic comedy club with welcoming fun atmosphere for both comics and audience members alike.Every now and then you will get some incel who thinks he is hilarious that bombs with his dark" (ie bigoted) humour and then tries to blame the club/mc/audience instead of realising how bad they are but this is usually handled quite well and the vast majority of evenings you are just going to have a very very fun evening!!!!"
