Classic French cuisine with friendly staff.The Toast and Herbs was tasty to start and the Onion Soup was delicious.Duck Confit is one of my favorite dishes and this was unfortunately a little of a letdown. The duck was cooked well but pretty salty and the Baby Potatoes didn’t taste fresh, no bite to them at all.I did go in between lunch/dinner service so it may have affected the final product.

Great historical restaurant and service was excellent. We are inside since there were several smokers for outdoor dining. Good food and escargot and creme brulee were my favorite

The food was absolutely delicious! We got an assortment of entrees and mains, as well as dessert which was my favourite! The chocolate mousse is a must try! The staff were friendly and it was nice and quaint and calm in the heart of Paris. This was a wonderful restaurant to finish our trip in Paris coming all the way from Melbourne, Australia!

Solid 4.5/5 for this classic brasserie with pretty good food! Sure, it's a little touristy (if the all-day service and English menus are any indication) given the proximity to the Eiffel Tower. However, we still enjoyed our meal here. The terrace was mostly full when we arrived around 8pm on a Monday, but there were a lot of tables available inside, which was comfortable with its clean yet old school interiors. We ordered the duck leg confit, Caesar salad w/ crispy chicken, beef brochette (from the daily menu), shrimp risotto and side of green beans. Food came out relatively fast. The crispy chicken and shrimp were over-cooked, but otherwise the dishes were tasty and flavours were great. Beef brochette was perfectly medium rare and duck was fall-off-the-bone tender. Dressing on the Caesar salad was on the heavier side. The side of green beans was nothing special. Portion sizes are good for the price, and service was friendly.

Ambiance chaleureuse avec une équipe formidable. Des huîtres et un coquelet farci aux châtaignes foie gras et aiguillettes de canards un régal. Je recommande ce lieu magnifique. Bravo à la nouvelle équipe.

Un cadre magnifique !Un service aux petits soins. Un grand merci pour votre accueil chaleureux et souriant.Les plats sont à tomber !Vraiment délicieux, rien à redire. J'ai rarement mangé un repas si goûtu du début à la fin.Encore merci pour ce moment,Nous reviendrons c'est une certitude !

Went here for my last night in Paris with my sister. Service was so fantastic and the staff were so welcoming and hospitable. Delicious cocktails and if you are in the mood for some french cuisine would definitely recommend the escargot & french onion soup.

Food is generally good, but inconsistent quality. Lunch is definitely better with fresher starter and bread. free breads at dinner hour was soft and soggy; and onion soup was considerably less than lunch (3/4 amount), which was pretty questionable.Overall mains and starters are pretty good. Definitely worth visiting if you are staying nearby. Would love to give five stars if food is consistent.

The restaurant has one of those typical Parisian terraces that look so inviting. The atmosphere in the restaurant and around us seemed very local - I noticed that from all the guests only us and another table were speaking a foreign language, everyone else was local surrounding us with the beautiful sound of french. The staff is super friendly and attentive, the food was absolutely delicious and they have a really good choice of desserts. I had a really hard time choosing just one to try.

La gauloise a changé, de propriétaire mais aujourd’hui ce n’est plus la gauloise que j’ai connu, il y a quelques années. La cuisine a baissé en qualité, les assiettes sont chaudes mais les plats sont froids ou tièdes, ensuite on une fricassée de scipions , même pas poêlée et revenu, on fait par à la serveuse, mais … sans réaction , c ´est dommage ilya le cadre mais pas les bonnes personnes qui sont en cuisine ou en salle … dommage !!!!
