Gîte Velobnb - cycling holidays in the Pyrenees

Absolutely beautiful house in a stunning location in the Pyrenees. I was part of a group of 6 who were there for a cycling holiday including L’Ariegeoise sportive.The house has been recently renovated to an extremely high standard and is only a couple of miles from the nearby town Mirepoix which has some great restaurants cafes and bars.Karl and Beata could not have been better hosts, and being active cycling enthusiasts they have a barn full of tools, connections to local bike shops for rentals and repairs, and they provided us with some brilliant local routes, lunch venue recommendations and encouragement!Highly recommended.

I have now had 2 fabulous cycling holidays with Karl and Beata at Velobnb. Most generous and welcoming hosts nothing was too much trouble for them The location is ideal with east access to rolling roads and some more testing climbs and being cyclists themselves they have scouted many great routes personally. Highly recommend a visit.

Just had an amazing long weekend at Velovnb. Beata and Karl could not have been more hospitable, from arranging bike hire to sharing great cycling routes. The Gite is amazing and Beata's cooking was excellent.(and Karl's scrambled eggs). Its a great location with superb riding on your doorstep or easy access to great climbs in the pyrenees. Karl has also fitted a barn into a bike workshop. I wanted for nothing. Thankyou Beata and Karl for making the trip so smooth and enjoyable. I am sure i will be back.

Had a great time at Velobnb, Beata and Karl were fantastic host. The cycling in the area was better than it looked and with you being close to Mirepoix you had a good choice of restaurants. Will definitely be going back

This is a beautiful part of France, ideal for cycling, whether you want flat empty roads, gently rolling hills or steeper climbs. The location of Velobnb is perfect for accessibility to the Ariège and its stunning villages, such as Camon, and medieval towns, such as the local Mirepoix. The proprietors Karl and Beata are friendly cycling enthusiasts who will help you with routes and general cycling queries. They are also wonderful hosts. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a wonderful cycling holiday at this beautiful Gîte. The accommodation and facilities are first class, and the location is really convenient with access to the Pyrenees and the towns and vistas of the Occitane. Mirepoix is stunning.Karl and Beata are such attentive and generous hosts. They shared tailored cycling routes, amazing food and tips on restaurants and places to go.After a mechanical problem we couldn't fix ourselves despite a barn full of tools, Karl helped get my bike fixed locally with a short drive to a friendly mechanic, and I was immediately back on the road. So kind!A Beautiful place. I'd have no hesitation in highly recommending the hosts and house for cycling, family or social getaways.
