We can’t find words which are good enough to describe how excellent the experience at Academia Bilingual School has been so far to our daughter.She attended first grade from mid term and immediately adapted and felt as she had always been part of the whole group.It is clearly visible how happy and motivated the full staff and teacher are and this reflects on a daily basis, in the children, both at school and at home.We couldn’t have asked for more.The offer is absolutely complete with complementary clubs according to the children’s needs / skills.Thank you Academia, we’re all looking forwards towards a great time together for years to come.

Best school ever! Our daughter has just finished her first year in College with excellent grades! She went through the whole academia Bilingual School, teachers are amazing, the academic level is great, the familiar atmosphere without this enormous pressure is a relief for children and parents. My son is still in the Bilingual School and do you know what: He enjoys the school every day and so we as parents.

This is a really great school. We cannot recommend it enough! Our son started Kindergarten this year and we have been very impressed by the quality of the teaching staff and personnel. The facilities are smaller and more personal than the average international school and we fully appreciate the level of individual attention this affords our child. The Head Master is approachable and actively involved in the day to day running of the school. The children all know his name, and you will often find him on lunchtime school yard duty. I honestly cannot remember a single instance of this from my own childhood.The teaching staff are also exceptional, kind hearted and highly motivated. The passion of the staff is palpable and elevates the entire experience for your child. I've seen assistants consoling new or hurt little children with hugs. The mental and emotional health of the child is more important than any fear of senseless litigation that you might find in the USA for example. Our son loves going to school. He is thriving and learning so much.My husband and I feel so grateful that our son can start his education in this type of environment and we feel relaxed and confident in knowing he is in such professional and experienced hands. We highly recommend!

Moving to Basel from the UK was full surprises and unforeseen complications, luckily the school was certainly not one of them.Looking at several schools in the area ais appealed because of its more intimate size and its bilingual philosophy.Our children have been at the school for a while now and I am very happy. More importantly my children are very happy. Choosing this school has certainly softened the blow of the stress of moving to a new country.I feel the teachers genuinely care about both the academic and personal development of students , with very good feedback.I am also VERY happy with their new language skills.I would recommend Academia International School to any one of my personal friends if they were to relocate here in Basel.

We joined this great school 6 years ago and both of our kids enjoy lots of fun especially small class like a family, also with delicious lunch, swimming lesson, school bus. What kids learned surprise us a lot with native English and German, result in Cambridge test and so on. Thank you very much for this great team.

A truly fantastic start in life for our son who spent 7 years at Academia Bilingual Primary School - we all love this place. The nurturing, confidence building and engaging culture of education have enabled our son to develop to his full potential both socially and academically... and in both English and German! This school is terrific , and has a lovely team .The teachers are like friends to the children. She loves to learn and she loves to be in this school. I am so happy having found Accademia for us.My child was before 4 years in the Sis School Basel .She did not like to go to school. The teachers were all the years horrible ,not only to me. The Sis school has a very strange and stupid system of learning, and I think all the kids are very stressed out because of that.We are so happy to see our child growing up in the Accademia school.

We could not be happier with Academia Bilingual school! It is a relatively new little school which has been growing a lot in the past few years. It is well organized, with a familiar feel, lovely premises and an amazing art studio. The teachers and the headmaster really go over and beyond to make sure all children thrive, learn well and behave well. The school is inclusive and attention is given to all children, in collaboration with the families. Very recommended.

Academia primary school was the perfect place for our children when we first arrived in Basel. The school itself feels like a family and it is a wonderful environment for young children. From the very first day our kids felt welcomed and included, which made the rest of the transition so much easier. The staff, headed by Jarrod Brauer are fantastic and really work together to create the kind of atmosphere in which young children thrive. I highly recommend it of any families moving to Basel.

Excellent school that we cannot recommend enough! Our kids started in local Swiss school but after 3 years living in the US we were looking for a bilingual school with the supporting climate and stimulating learning atmosphere. We found all of it and more in Academia. Excellent caring teachers, great progressive and very involved principle, small classes and community feel, overall fantastic team. We are also very happy with academic level, and approach to learning through curiosity and good habits and less pressure. Our kids love the school and enjoy going there every day. Our only regret is that we are moving away.
