Nice small friendly congregation! Visited whilst on holiday!

Arrived for the service at 10am to be told that I had to give a phone number and wear a mask! Everyone in the church, about a dozen - average age over 60 - was wearing a mask. I didn't. The service progressed though it was hotter in the church than outside. Then the sermon was given by a woman who immediately started quoting post modern French philosophers like Kant and including the atheist Derrida!! I came to listen to the gospel not to be lectured in Marxist ideology!!! My Pentecostal friends all tease me that the Church of England is institutionally woke… I'm afraid it seems that they are right. Sad!
