Merci encore

I booked three rooms for my family. My mother uses a wheelchair when travelling long distances, but a walking stick for short distances. I emailed the hotel to advise them of this. When we got to the hotel, we asked the staff if we could store her collapsible wheelchair in the luggage room as the lifts weren’t large enough for it to go in. I immediately got told that I should have advised them of the wheelchair in advance and my mother could have had a ground floor room. I apologized and explained that there was no place in the online booking form to say that we had a wheelchair but that I had emailed, but also that it didn’t matter because she was fine to take the lift with her walking stick. So not a big deal. After that, and with the help of the very kind receptionists, we got checked into our rooms. The next day when we were returning from the Louvre a different receptionists started complaining about the wheelchair and saying that I hadn’t told them about the wheelchair. I was surprised she even brought it up. None of us were bothered about it at all. I repeated my explanation from the day before. She seemed offended that I wasn’t apologizing and kept repeating, ‘I don’t know why you didn’t tell me.’ I repeated my explanation a few times as clearly as I could. My husband and daughter were just standing there as the receptionist went on and kept saying, ‘I’m just trying to help.’ But I’m not sure how any of that could have seemed helpful.I mentioned all of this in the survey only to get a rude email from the woman at the front desk 5 minutes later.Having now read other reviewers complaining of the small stairs and lift, I wonder if the woman we were speaking to was feeling insecure about how others perceived these issues. - But I never had a problem with the small stairs or lifts. We were fine with that, we just would have appreciated better customer service.Otherwise…The bedding and coffee were very nice. Coffee was better than I would normally expect at a hotel. The location was excellent.I had trouble getting my deposit back, and read other reviews which said the same.My air conditioner worked, but the one in my mother’s room did not. That was fine for her as she likes her room warm, but other customers might want to be aware that could be an issue. - Have seen other reviewers said the same. For me, being reprimanded like a child, rather than a customer who had paid thousands for the rooms left me with a poor memory of the hotel. If the above hadn’t happened, I likely would have given 5 stars for having good coffee and comfy beds.

This is a very nice hotel in an excellent location. The service was good but not over the top. Our room refrigerator did not work and nothing was done about it even though we asked twice. This was not a huge deal though. The rooms are cleaned every day and there are great bars and restaurants within walking distance. Overall, a good stay.

Our first time in Paris! And this location was perfect. The staff was accommodating and the Front Desk Manager was a memorable delight. She was very kind and understanding to all our interests. The room was a bit small and dated off the front facade so it can get a bit noisy but overall it was extremely enjoyable with a lovely breakfast.

I had a classic room for 6 nights in this hotel. I expected the room to be very small, it was not. Plenty of room for just myself and would’ve been so for a 2nd person as well. The hotel is in a great location and is very quiet. The only noise I heard with shared hallway noise by my 2 neighbors going to/from the elevator. The hotel has a nice lobby that made it easy and comfortable to gather our group downstairs before exploring the city. Close to restaurants, shopping and the metro. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was perfect!

The staff were really friendly and helpful, we were upgraded on arrival and our room was lovely. The location is excellent, close to lots of local amenities and just a short walk to The Louvre . This was the perfect place for me and my daughter to enjoy our weekend away in Paris and we have made some wonderful memories!

We were very satisfied with this hotel. The ladies who checked us in and out were wonderful. We were 4 adults and 2 kids and were given all 3 rooms on the highest 7th floor for 6 nights. It felt like our personal penthouse floor :). Our classic rooms were quiet and of a very reasonable size. They were well cleaned each day. My kids were jet lagged and slept in every morning during breakfast time. The woman in charge of breakfast was very kind and understanding and provided me with a tray to pile on breakfast goodies for my kids and take up to the room. There was ample supply of water. I liked the location. Walkable to ile de la cite/ latin quarter, St. Germain de Pres, le Maris, and Louvre/Tuileries. The Louvre Rivoli metro station and bus 72/69 stop are very close for further out excursions. The Les Halles train station which we used for the RER B train to come from the airport is a 7 min walk but huge and a little chaotic. Merci to all the staff for taking such good care of 6 Americans who spoke very little French. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
