ROYAL HOTEL VERSAILLES

Nous avons découvert cet hôtel ce WE. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Il est idéalement bien placé pour visiter le château de Versailles. La chambre était agréable donnant sur une petite rue calme, bonne literie, propre.Le petit déjeuner est copieux, servi à table . Nous avons beaucoup discuté des délicieuses confitures maison et gâteaux faits par la propriétaire .Ce sont des personnes très agréables, toujours le sourire. C'est parfait ne changé rien. Nous reviendrons sans problème.

Hôtel très bien situé, les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, le petit déjeuner est copieux avec du choix et des produits maison (le gâteau maison qui change chaque jour est un régal). Pour conclure, c'est un très bon rapport qualité prix, mérite plus que 2 étoiles. Le seul bémol est la salle de bain, elle est petite et la baignoire est haute. Nous avons passé un bon séjour.

Hôtel très bien situé, bon accueil, chambre familiale très correct, salle de bain un peu petite...Très propre et au calme.Je recommande.

Hosts are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast with home made jam and cake. Bedroom clean and freshly decorated. Only downside is that the street is a bit noisy in the morning

Where do I start. The location was very good for visiting the palace. There are quite a few local restaurants but the good ones take some looking for. The staff are friendly and the room was clean. This is where the positive comments end. Our room looked lovely on the web site the reality was more akin to student accommodation and even a student would have turned their noses up. The utensils we were left to cook with were abysmal. A large wooden fork a peeler a cork screw and a random selection of forks and two knives . I frying pan I saucepan a two ring hob and a microwave . If you plane to cook some meals to save money it had better be spaghetti Bolognese and nothing more as the facilities do not lend themselves to anything more interesting. The sink was small no plug or bowl to wash up in. The kitchen was more an alcove incorporating a small cupboard and sink. The room was very tatty expanding foam on top of skirting to hide a hole where the pipes came out ,hole in sink bathroom sink which then leaked underneath. badly painted door he had just painted the edge and not the middle. The staff apologised for the deception on the web site.. We stayed two nights but had we not paid upfront we would have got back in the car having seen the room and gone somewhere else. Sleeping in the car would have been preferable if my husband hadn't just had a hip replacement. The beds are small and very very uncomfortable. If you can afford to go somewhere else and avoid the disappointment that we experienced. We had planned to visit Versailles for some years but this experience really took the shine off our trip.

De passage à Versailles le weekend du 8 mai, nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet hôtel. Le petit déjeuner était copieux, la chambre calme et propre, le personnel était aux petits soins avec nous. Très bien situé pour aller à pieds au château.Très bon rapport qualité prix, Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir et à conseiller cet établissement autour de nous.

Bon emplacement, les chambres sont propres, bonne literie, l’endroit est calme etc. Par contre si vous prenez le petit déjeuner à l’hôtel, prévoyez de passer à la boulangerie avant car le pain est compter !!! Je trouve cela regrettable quand on paye 14 euros un petit déjeuner!!Remplacer le pain frais par du pain de mis Harris de la grande surface du coin … Pas top du tout.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end, l'emplacement est idéal pour visiter la ville et accéder au château à pieds. Le petit déjeuner est copieux avec de bons produits frais. L'accueil est sympathique et chaleureux. On est comme à la maison et nous reviendrons.

Très bon hôtel. Nous y avons séjourné pour un week-end. Bien situé par rapport au château et au RER avec un parking tout pres. La chambre est agréable ainsi que la literie et suffisamment grande pour 2. C est plutôt calme au vue de la proximité de la route C est propre. L accueil est parfait et le petit déjeuner est un régal avec des confitures et gâteaux fait maison. Merci pour ce week-end. Nous reviendrons.

The hotel is well located, just five minutes walk from the train station Rive Gauche and ten minutes from the main gate at Versailles. There is a small supermarket, a pharmacy and an excellent coffee shop (The Stray Bean) all virtually outside, and some nice restaurants a short walk away, on the Rue de Satory. I booked an en suite room with two double beds for my daughter and I. Our room was spacious, clean, and quite comfortable. The decor was a bit dated, and there was no a/c, but then there seldom is in France, even at more expensive hotels. Our room looked out on to the main road and there was street noise at night, mainly just people at the bus-stop chatting, and with our window closed we couldn't hear it. The breakfast was simple but good, and made for an easy start to a jam-packed day of sightseeing.
