Fromagerie Germain

Lieu particulièrement propre. Les fromages sont excellents . J'ai appris que l'on pouvait faire une Langriflette avec le fromage de Langres , ça change d'une tartiflette .

This is a review of the boutique - not of the cheese itself. Fromagerie Germain is an authentic french cheese factory of medium size, specialized in the Epoisses and Langres appelations. They offer customers a very well stocked, beautiful cheese shop with ample stock of their own cheeses and also a selection of other french cheese, plus an assortment of regional products. (5 stars) They have a small bar, which I could not assess due to COVID. They have also designed a minimal visitor's experience center with some info signs in an outside garden, a hallway which you can walk with windows that look into different rooms of the factory representing different stages of the cheese making and maturation process, some posters telling the whole process of how the landmark appelation cheeses are made, ending in a video room where they show a good quality video of how they make their cheese. (3 stars) I found the visitor's center to be a very limited experience. I did not feel I had visited a cheese factory. Some rooms were empty or with the lights turned off. The video is playing in different languages each time and there is no indication of how long one has to wait to be able to see it again in your preferred language. All in all, worth a visit if you are in the area and you are a french cheese lover. It was full of locals shopping for their daily cheese. Regarding the cheeses, I strongly recommend the Epoisses Selection Affineur - excellent Epoisses!

Je recommande largement ce lieu, c'est super si vous devez organiser de grands repas. Personnels très cools et supers sympas

Une tres belle vitrine pour les amateurs de bonnes choses a manger et a boireTres propre les vendeuses sont tres acceuilantes dommage cependant elle ne reste pas longtemps en poste gros va et viens de personnel ....Beaucoup de produits haut marnais sur place .

Énormément de choix de fromages , de coffrets cadeaux, de produits locaux...le prix des fromages fabriqués sur place est très intéressant .

Le temps de trajet pour venir dans ce beau magasin bien achalandé ne se justifie pas :J'espérais obtenir quelques conseils en vue d'une dégustation que j'organisais, mais j'ai dû faire la sélection moi-même.Entre un jeune débutant au rayon coupe et une responsable de magasin " trop occupée à sa caisse

On ne vous laisse pas faire le tour de la fromagerie. Vous êtes accostés d'emblée. Fromages à a coupe plus que faits. Cela ne donne pas envie d'y retourner ...
