Alamo Rent A Car

J’ai loué un vehicule chez Alamo enterprise aéroport Marseille Provence. Je suis totalement satisfait du service . La caution prélevée m’a été remise sans aucun problème. Le véhicule loué est dans un état parfait et ultra-propre. Merci à l’équipe qui sont très aimables et au souci pour le moindre détail.Je reviendrai sans doute.

Rented a compact SUV in July 2023 from Alamo Marseille Provence Airport. No line at rental office, which was great. Agent went through the rental contract explaining it, and although I made it clear I have insurance, he used 'scare tactics' to sell additional. Once all was understood, it was a short wait as the car had to come from washing, as per the agent. But it was not like that! The car was NOT CLEANED inside and NOT WASHED either! Dirty inside, found receipts one month old, lots of dust on the outside. After an overnight flight and in 30+ degrees did not have the time and energy to argue. Later on found out they noted 4,000 km in the paperwork, but on the dash it was 40,000 km!!! Additionally the light from passenger air bag was on. After several phonecalls, they finally picked up assuring it was ok. Fortunately I returned it without any issues, so it's up to them to fix it and provide confidence to next driver.

Deuxième location dans cette agence. Personnel sympathique et efficace. Prise en charge et remise rapide du véhicule. Etat impeccable. Tarif très compétitif. On trouve l'agence facilement. Je reviendrai sans hésiter.

We had a horrible experience with Alamo — do not recommend booking with them. Our flight from london was cancelled, and even though we called the car company to let them know (and had call records to prove it), when we arrived in Marseille they had given our car away. The team at the desk were so rude and unhelpful, they just said there was nothing they could do. And they had no more cars to offer us - even though we checked online and Alamo was showing availability. We spent hours stood there after a very long day of cancelled flights and waiting, arguing our case to which we were in the right - they just shouted and swore at us in French - showing evidence that we had called to let them know about our cancelled flight and eventually left and booked a car with europcar next door. To make matters worse, another couple was in the same situation as us and was on our cancelled flight — however they told us they didn’t even call Alamo to let them know, and they turned to up to find their car was still available. Alamo clearly made a mistake and gave our car away, and would not take responsibility for it or even try and help us. Do NOT book with Alamo.

Personnel sympa heureusement, mais la société prélève un montant supérieur à la facture initiale. Impossible de les avoir au téléphone. Je tiens à confirmer aucun dommage, le plein fait. Un prélèvement supérieur de 49.20€. Si je n'ai pas de réponse, je vais donc annuler mes réservations prochaines.

ABSOLUTE FRAUDSTERS - DO NOT USEI rented a car for the weekend with 750km allowance. I made two trips (to my hotel 1h away, and then back again).When I got back they checked my car in with no issues. A few days later they have charged me an extra €250km for exceeding my km allowance.They are claiming that I drove 943km in those two hours!Note this is all after having to get many many dents and scratches added to the car damage log at the start (which said the car was in perfect condition)

Location d'une petite voiture chez Alamo à l'aéroport de Marseille Marignane. Équipe sympathique de jeunes gens dynamiques : accueil agréable, prise en compte et restitution du véhicule rapides et efficaces. Bref, une très bonne expérience client. Je recommande.

We got a better car than expected. Service was fast and efficient, staff was very nice. And the car was really clean and of quality. Process to give the car back was super quick and easy.

Just the most terrible experience. We arrived at their office after a long flight and along with several other customers they didn't have our car available. To cut a long story short, we had to accept a smaller car and they said that they would give us a 30% discount to compensate us. However, when we wanted something to prove that they would do this, they started to become very aggressive, threatened to cancel our booking, threatened to call the police. And then they denied that they offered us the 30% discount.The car itself was faulty (the gears were not changing properly, which we confirmed at a local garage) and we tried to call all day but the people at the office kept telling us that they would phone back, that the manager was in a meeting, that he was at lunch etc. etc. Clearly not true and they never rang us back.Please do not book with these people. It was the only stressful thing in an otherwise lovely time in France.
