We booked a wine tour of the beaujolais region with Oliver and had a fantastic time! He was very knowledgeable, engaging and passionate about the wines and the region which we greatly appreciated. This experience was a perfect blend of education and enjoyment, and we left with a newfound appreciation (and bottles) of beaujolais wine. Highly recommended!

We took the Northern Rhône full day tour with Olivier and absolutely loved it. Olivier managed all the logistics perfectly, including communicating with us before the tour, but more importantly, was a fantastic guide throughout the day. He was extremely knowledgeable about the region and the wine, and he helped us discover local winemakers we never would have found on our own. Highly recommend!And if you’re planning a longer trip, this was a great side trip from Paris (taking the train and staying one night in Lyon).

Had a really lovely time on a full day Cote-Rotie tour with Olivier in the northern Cotes du Rhone region. Olivier had heaps of interesting information about the area and the wines were delicious! Would highly recommend doing this tour.

My friend and l did the half day Shiraz/Syrah afternoon tour out of Lyon and had a fantastic time. Olivier was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in learning more about local wine and seeing more of the region!

We booked the half day Syrah wine tour with Oliver and were delighted we did. The 4.5 hour trip included two scenic stops for photos and two contrasting vineyards with tastings. Oliver was equal parts driver, guide and wine expert, and did a fine job. Highly recommended trip.

We had an amazing time doing the all day tour to Northern Rhône wineries! BEAUTIFUL area and all of the wineries were great visits. we had a great time with Olivier and he clearly knows his stuff- he’s knowledgeable of the wine, the land, history of region, and sharing culture and wine information. There are 8 total people on the tour, which was the perfect amount. I wish we could do this tour everyday! I definitely recommend Olivier and Kanpai tours!

My wife and I did a tour of the Beaujolais region with Kanpai Tours during our honeymoon, and agree it was one of the best parts of the trip. Our guide, Olivier, was amazing from start to finish. During our drive to the wine country, Olivier shared with us the history of the region, details about the winemaking process, and countless fun facts about the area. Along the way, we stopped for a couple of beautiful photo opportunities before stopping to tour Oingt, a gorgeous village at the top of a hill. After walking around the town, Olivier took us to a great tasting room where we tried sparkling wines from the region. We then drove down the hill to a beautiful vineyard, where the proprietor walked us through the grape harvesting process before offering us a generous tasting of several wines, meats and cheeses.The tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Olivier was a professional but friendly guide that made sure everyone had fun and stayed well informed the entire time. We will definitely be reaching out to Olivier again the next time we are back in Lyon.
