Jardin du Prieuré

The Jardin de Prieuré is set in the centre of the pretty village of Foussaie-Payré - one of the ‘Petites cités de Caractères’The garden was the location for a concert by Marc Lavoine - a favourite artist of mine, and I wasn’t disappointed!The garden was a perfect setting - with well organised parking, lots of space for seating and a WC open to the public.On a ‘normal’ day the gardens are open for picnics and there are several walking trails starting in the park. Lots of interesting wooden sculptures dotted around the garden.
