Great company, professional collaboration and good communication

Requested translation for an official government application. Received translation and submitted it with my application. Was notified by the agency I submitted my application to that the translator made an error in the document. Contacted the translator who issued a corrected digital copy. It’s been a week and I’m still waiting for the mailed copy.No apology whatsoever from the translator for the error or for the delay in receiving a mailed copy.Something as small an error like this can have huge consequences for a paying client, such as a delayed or disqualified application. So I paid 50 euros for a cold service with translation errors and for a few weeks delay in my application processing. A client requesting translation shouldn’t be expected to check the work of a translator….at least implement some form of quality control?
