Musée Maxim's

Très beau lieu.

The worst and most expensive party ever! The location is nice to look at but it's all way too expensive and there's not enough quality delivered. 16 Euro entrance fee, a small cup of drink costs 12 Euro and the security is unfriendly. In addition there is only one toilet cabin and long waiting times. No recommendation!

Je peux comprendre que le prix de 25€ peut en refroidir certains mais dites vous qu'ils seront très bien investi dans cette visite d'un musée atypique, unique et surtout d'époque. Un régal pour les yeux et pour les oreilles si vous etes un minimum sensible à l'art oratoire que maitrise parfaitement le conservateur du musée (qui sera votre guide) et qui, ainsi, vous fera voyager durant plus d'1h15 (ma visite ayant durée 1h35) au début d'une 20eme. Je conseil vivement cette visite pour tout amateur (comme moi) et passionné d'art nouveau.

we arrived at 17:00 and were told it is closing at 17:45 with unpleasant tone, they almost didn’t let us in. After 17:38 we were followed by all staff just repeating we must go. Few parts were closed due to reconstruction, nowhere written.

Very cool collection. Take time to walk the streets around here. Cool little neighborhood!

What a waste of time!,Was hoping to see it on my last visit to Paris..closed for renovations! So her I am 2 year's later and turned up at 1.30 for the 2.00pm Tour. Had an overpriced coffee at Maxims cafe. Asked Maitre'd where tour starts and he said outside Maxim's Restaurant. Waited out front at 1.50, 2.00pm came,2.10. Three workers entered the Restaurant and locked the door after them and nothing said after clearly seeing We were waiting. Decided to go into the overpriced gift shop and was Told No Tours Anymore'??? Gave up and left. Nothing on website which has probably now said closed by the time people read this review. If you go and read other people's reviews as well
