Thrifty

If this is the Thrifty near the train station, unless you know exactly where the counter is to return your keys (because you have been there before), plan EXTRA time to find it. We had picked up our car in Montpellier, so we had not been to this location yet.When it came time to return our vehicle, we circled about three times driving in a big loop, getting more and more uneasy because Google Maps kept on saying it was coming up, and then suddenly we had passed it. Fortunately there were two of us, so after enough restlessness my husband parked a few blocks while I walked to the map location for Thrifty counter, which was in more of a pedestrian square with little car access, it's hard to explain. The nice ladies at the counter said that the parking ramp was on the (different) street (very obviously a parking ramp, but not obviously a Thrifty parking lot). I believe the street the parking ramp is on is Allee Boissy L'Anglas, but I could be wrong. Maybe call the counter to get the address or description of where you should park the car.So I walked back 3 blocks to where my husband had parked, we circled back driving to find the parking ramp, parked, PHEW, and then walked to the counter (easier to do now that we were on foot) to turn in our key(s) before getting to the station nearby for our train. Fortunately we had put in plenty of buffer so were not late.
