Burgundy Wine School

Prior to booking, I'd read many positive reviews about Cristina Otel and the Burgundy Wine School. Still, the experience substantially exceeded my expectations. Not only is Cristina's depth of knowledge seemingly inexhaustible, but she is skilled in conveying otherwise complex information in ways that are easily digested. Beginning my visit to the Côte d'Or with an orientation at the Burgundy Wine School could not have been a better choice.

My wife & I last year enrolled in the 2 days course with both lectures/wine tasting and daily field trip. This was a most marvelous educational and enjoyable experience and well worth your time ! Unless you feel you are already quite knowledgeable about Burgundy wines , I believe most everyone will gain substantially from the educational “ tools “ she had taught us .Now deciding on and selective Burgundy wines with great values and not being overwhelmed by all the choices and prices seemed a lot more attainable. My wife already had shipped a few cases of well selected wines home last year and now we are back in Beaune again this year ! We enjoy our experience very much as you can tell .

What a great experience! Cristina is so knowledgeable and I like her honest opinion. We learned so much about burgundy wines and wines in general. Def would recommend this tasting if you have the time.

Was travelling through France and found the Burgudny Wine School online. Since we did not have much time during this trip, we decided to take the 2 hr intro course and found it to be incredibly interesting and informative. Cristina is extremely knowledgable and is great at communicating information that is complex into digestable segments. We plan to return in the future to take the full 2 day course as well.If you are curious about Burgundy wines and viticulture in general, we would highly recommend the Burgundy Wine School.

Do not miss if you are interested in learning about burgundy wine. We took the two day class (2 half days) and it was amazing. Great introduction to the region, very intense and compressed but you really learn so much. Cristina (the owner of the school) is very professional and friendly and patient and a treasure trove of information. Would do it again and recommend any time.
