SIXT | Location voiture Lyon Part Dieu

Méfiez vous lorsque vous rendez le véhicule. Avant de signer la restitution, veillez à vérifier ce qu'a marqué le réceptionniste.Pour ma part, il m'a dit que tout était bon et quelques minutes plus tard, je reçois un rapport " par mail m'indiquant 2 défauts

I recently hired a car for 13 days with SIXT, booked through Holiday Autos to be collected at Lyon airport. I also took out extra insurance through Holiday Autos, paying an additional €89,00I chose SIXT because it has a reputation for avoiding dishonest business practises such as making spurious damage claims as a pretext for over-charging customers after they have returned a vehicle.I returned the vehicle at Lyon airport, driving it through a special new scanner. The person to whom I gave the keys checked the mileage and the condition of the vehicle, inside and out. I apologised that the car had attracted a little dust during the holiday and that it wasn't as clean as when I collected it.  He said it was normal and that everything was fine. I thanked him. We shook hands. I then got onto the the free shuttle service to Terminal 1.When I got home, I checked my email and found, to my surprise, a SIXT Damage Information Form together with a photograph of scratches to the front left rim.I am a very careful driver, especially when driving a car that does not belong to me. I am absolutely certain that I did not damage the vehicle in any way. Either the marks mentioned in the damage report were already present when I collected the vehicle or the new scanner at Lyon Airport is too sensitive and classifies dust as damage. To the naked eye, neither I nor the person at SIXT who inspected the vehicle could detect any damage.I telephoned SIXT Customer Service who courteously asked me to send them an email outlining the problem, which I did.The email I received from SIXT made no mention of my email to them but merely attached an invoice for €201,00 (€100,00 for the repair, €75,00 admin fee and €26,00 appraisal fee) . As I am unable to provide documentary evidence that I did not damage the vehicle, I paid up.I feel that SIXT has behaved dishonestly. I would therefore warn customers to take very detailed photographs of bodywork, wheels etc. when they collect a vehicle from SIXT and to do likewise when they return it to avoid falling victim to business practises of this sort.

Je passe souvent par SIXT Lyon Part Dieu pour mes locations professionnelles. L'équipe est très serviable, efficace et toujours souriante. Une agréable expérience à chaque fois!! Merci pour ce service :)

The staff is quite clueless and don’t help you accurately. They make erroneous reservations. Moreover, they offer upgrades and ask you to pay more . Refrain from accepting their suggestions, they are phoney and you just end up paying more for their dumb so-called smart vehicles. Please don’t use them, the normal ones are far better. Most importantly, don’t use the electric ones, the charging stations are far and few and don’t serve you well , especially over a longer distance. Be wary or you will be ripped off. Check all your reservations , they are extremely prone to making mistakes.

Bonjour. Réservation d'une voiture du 15 au 18 juin 2023. Conseil : quand vous prenez possession de la voiture, prenez le maximum de photos, comme cela vous vous couvrez car quand vous la rendrez, comme écrit dans d'autres avis, la personne de Sixt peut vous affirmer que tout va bien mais arrivé chez vous, vous recevez un mail pour vous prévenir que des chocs ont été constatés ! C'est faux ! Vous vous défendrez grâce aux photos prises ! C'est un procédé lamentable ! Faites donc bien attention lorsque vous signez à la restitution de la voiture, demandez absolument à voir le document en entier.

Bonjour, je suis vraiment dégoûtée de SIXT Location voiture , j’ai loué un véhicule pour une durée de neuf jours , finalement je l’ai gardé que 5 jours, à l’accueil ils m’ont dit qu’on va faire le nécessaire pour vous rembourser le 4 jours par virement sur votre compte bancaire.Je me suis déplacée 5 fois me disant à chaque fois qui vont me faire le nécessaire, depuis le 24 juillet 2023 je n’ai aucune réponse de leurs part , cela fait21 jours j’attends le remboursement jusqu’à ce joursJe vais me déplacer encore aujourd’hui .C’est des escrocs , malhonnêtes ,ils arnaquent les clients, je suis très déçu de leurs comportement.Une amie à moi elle a eu le même problèmeJe vous conseille de louer ailleurs que de louer chez SIXT

J'ai déjà testé plusieurs agences de location de voiture. Le personnel de cette agence est très sympathique et compétent, et il y a toujours une petite (voiture) électrique disponible. Je recommande.
