The Houseboat Péniche Chambre d'hôte Clémence Isaure was really a cool experience, made special by the owner and host, Marion. There is one room available so you need to book in advance.The room and entire barge was clean, totally organized to maximize every inch of space, and the room was comfortable. There were plenty of plugs for charging phones, good WiFi, a surprising amount of storage. The bathroom was clean with a good shower, hair dryer and soaps provided. There was a coffee-tea maker. The location is very convenient to walk into the city, and is only 2 KM directly down the Canal du Midi from the train station so you cannot get lost. Great coffee and food for breakfast, and as I said the hostess was so helpful that she had breakfast ready for us at 6:00 so we could set out on our canal walk. We would stay here again, for longer next time. We paid cash.
