Huge open area for parking of cars and motorhomes that are visiting the castle. A great resource for the area. Motorhomes can stay overnight but there are no facilities such as water or cassette emptying. Nearest toilets are about 300 metres away next to the tourist information office.

We parked over night and had peaceful night in our motorhome under the ramparts opposite the hospital. Obviously no services as local campsite closed for winter season. Good base to explore the castle and town with plenty to do and see
