Gite Du Clos Pommier

Enorm vriendelijke eigenaren en een superfijn en net huisje. Echt een aanrader!

Mooie uitvalbasis voor een champagneweekend. Er zijn 3 slaapkamers met dubbel bed, dus ideaal voor meerdere koppels. Kleine nadelen: amper 1 toilet (zonder wastafel?) en badkamer.

Gite très accueillant, tres propre et proprio avec un tres bel humour

This was our second visit to Lionel and Liliane’s Gite Clos du Pommier. Their place is the perfect base from where to explore the champagne region, and there are excellent vignerons nearby, even within ‘crawling’ distance such as Lebeau-Batiste (try them!). There are many other reasons to chose this Gite, because it is private, in a beautiful green environment, very well equipped, with ample space, three bedrooms, a living and dining area and a very spacious terrace with either charcoal or gas BBQ. The Gite can easily accommodate 6 persons. All the necessary stuff is on site, a very good oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker and so on. There is only one toilet and there is a separate shower. There is free Wifi which is functioning OK but not super fast. Most importantly you couldn’t wish for more accommodating and friendly hosts. We will definitely be back here on our next trip to Champagne.

Perfect gîte to stay near Epernay, surrounded by vineyards and great views. The place is well appointed and very clean, with all the needed amenities, and a great terrace to enjoy sitting outdoors and watch the stars (living in a city we don’t get to enjoy such a night sky). The host was easy-going and very friendly, always with a smile and check-in/out was smooth. Highly recommend!

Gite met alles wat je nodig hebt voor en ontspannen verblijf! Middenin de wijngaarden van de champagne en de eigenaren hebben hun eigen champagne in de gite liggen, welke je tegen betaling kan opdrinken, rose en andere wijn staan ook ter beschikking. Een warm welkom door de eigenaren en de hond, we kregen verse eitjes van de eigenaresse. Fijn wandelen en dichtbij Epernay, zeker een aanrader om de champagne te ontdekken. Aanrader!!
