See My Normandy - Guided Tours by Karine Poullard

We highly recommend Karine. We spent two days with her in Normandy - one touring the American D-Day sites and the other at Mont Saint Michel. It was me, my wife and our 17 year old son. We are all big history buffs,and my wife and I had done a D-Day tour in '04 with Battlebus. Karine's WWII knowledge was extraordinary, plus she had a French perspective from having grown up near Sword Beach.We particularly liked her getting us access to a German communications bunker at Utah, getting us to taps at the American cemetery, and then spending a lot of time at Omaha Beach's Dog Green seeing what the 29th Division encountered. The visit to Mont Saint Michel the next day was equally great, as she pointed out sites along the way (WWII as well as earlier Norman history) and gave us a great overview and a great tour of the Abbey.Her van was immaculate, she went out of her way to be sure our train to/from Normandy was on time (there were strikes in France) and made sure we were checked in to our hotel before leaving us. We will use her again if we visit Normandy and will recommend her to our friends.
