Relax Bike Tours

My husband and I had a WONDERFUL time exploring our Relax Bike Tours stopovers. The bikes were fabulous, the maps (book and app) made navigating the cycle very easy. The distances each day suited us down to the ground. We enjoyed all our night destinations and exploring what each city / village had to offer. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with each different from the last. Location was key - always central, thanks!! The provision of daily breakfast at each accommodation was super!! One less consideration :) I highly recommend Relax Bike Tours for those wanting an alternate, adventurous holiday. The perfect way to get amongst the beauty within the south of France :)

We loved our experience. From the initial inquiry through to the end of the trip, Isabella's communication, suggestions and assistance was exemplary. She made everything easy and the planning was completely done for us. Timo met us on our first day with our well-equipped bikes. Detailed maps and an app guided us through our journey to interesting towns & comfortable accommodations. It was a relaxing, interesting, and thoroughly enjoyable vacation. Relax bike tours - Isabella and Timo organised an amazing trip along the canal du midi. Isabella took great care in listening to our requests and made excellent recommendations on the best route and accommodations along the way. Our e-bikes were very good and served us well on our trip. Due to their experience and excellent customer service. We had a great variety of experience during our week and met some wonderful hosts. Baggage handled beautifully also. Thank you so much Isabella and Timo….. our first bike tour experience and what a wonderful thing you do for novices - and probably experienced cyclists too!! The reception was just as arranged at Carcassonne with Timo offering his advice and knowledge, but most of all his sense of humor. Isabella was the engine room arranging all the admin and accommodation which worked like a treat.First night at Homps was a delight with the hosts so friendly and willing to help. What a wonderful provincial center and they are so proud of their locale. The reception and breakfast were first class. Next to Narbonne and this was a similar experience albeit a hotel which attracts different energies. The sense of assistance was still evident and so much appreciated.Narbonne was good and well worth the diversion. Next day was to Beziers and was a hectic day for us - perhaps a little over confident in our navigation?? The hotel was good and understanding. The next two days were in Marseillan where we had a chance to soak in what the region and town had to offer. Who would have thought we were channeling our 007 vibes with a visit to the home of Noilly Prat vermouth - shaken not stirred!! The next day was a great flat ride to Sete around the sea side. Wonderful!!!Timo was there at the very end to wrap things up very well. Made us feel like we had achieved something special. Todd & Kirsty MacDougall

Recently undertook the bike tour along the Canal de midi for 5 days with 2 rest days. The electric bikes were very modern and top quality. The maps provided were clear and provided safe riding into each town. Great support team with our luggage arriving before us at each stop. Highly recommend.

Relax Bike Tours organized a perfect 8 day custom cycling tour along the historic Canal du Midi in the Languedoc region of Southern France for myself and my husband. Awesome bike trip along the Canal Du Midi. Isabella, and Timo, were a pleasure to deal with. We only had a small window of time to cycle while in France, and within 1 day Isabella came up with a customized itinerary for us. We were 5 nights, and 4 days of biking. The 3 start hotels were all excellent, places I would stay again. The biking and the scenery were more than I had hoped for. The route is extremely biker friendly, with only a small amount of time where you are sharing the road with a farm tractor! Relax" lived up to its name. They made it so easy for us

We were so happy with Relax Bike Tours. Equipment was great, very accurate maps and directions. The accommodations were all fabulous. We really liked that you could customize your trip. There were many options for add-ons. Isabella is so responsive. From our first contact with Isabella, we knew that customer service was a priority for Relax Bike Tours. All communication was friendly and clear. Our requests were accommodated, and we were very well taken care of for our whole tour. Instructions, maps and directions were very well set out.The e bikes were high quality with lots of battery life. We kept them on the lowest setting most of the time, as the Canal du Midi paths are mostly flat. The extra power boost did come in handy when going up hill (not much of that), when fighting head winds, and towards the end of the day when, as seniors, our energy started to flag a bit. The arranged accommodations were great, and breakfast each morning got us off to a great start. The hotels and B&Bs were well set up to manage our bikes.We appreciated the suggestion to spend 2 days in Homps. The B&B we stayed in was beautiful and Homps and nearby Minerve were a pleasure to explore.The south of France is very beautiful, with gorgeous sights too many to mention. Thank you Isabella and Timo for an amazing experience!
