Français ou Anglais Avec Jason

I've been doing the dictation class with Jason via Zoom for a couple of months and I have found it so helpful for my French learning - and really enjoyable too! Jason speaks perfect French, of course, but I find that because he has experienced learning French as an English person, he is able to really explain the grammar etc in a way that is clear and also interesting. It feels like a real adventure to explore the language together! I wholeheartedly recommend Jason as a French teacher and I am hoping to do one of his language retreats in the future.

French lessons with Jason have been great and he makes learning fun! Even the grammar…..!! After only a few months, we are now comfortable using French in day-to-day situations and his teaching style, enthusiasm and friendliness have made it a very pleasurable experience. He will be invaluable as we progress to attempting the French language exam for citizenship. Last but definitely not least, Owen’s food is always absolutely divine!

Pendant quelques mois mes amies françaises et moi avons eu l occasion de prendre des cours d anglais avec Jason. Une ambiance conviviale autour d un petit repas toujours aussi bon préparé par Owen. Cet acceuil et cette convivialité nous ont enchanté et nous ont permis de rencontrer et de parler anglais avec des personnes très sympathiques. Les cours et les rencontres organisées par Jason sont ludiques et toujours amusants. Quel joie d apprendre sans stress!!!! Personnellement ces cours et ces soirées m ont permis d améliorer considérablement mon niveau en anglais et toujours dans la joie et la bonne humeur. C est super.. Il est anglais mais son français permet d avoir une réponse à toutes nos questions. C' est un grand confort vu son niveau qui permet une parfaite traduction.

I have had French lessons with Jason now for over 2 years. The full day courses are packed full of learning, where Jason uses a variety of specific methods to keep things interesting and fun. Owens lunches are ALWAYS superb and the days are excellent value for money. The Zoom lessons again are always very organised, make you want to keep going back for more and Jason has a unique skill of encouraging everyone plus remembering each individuals specific challenges. Even when i think i know an area of french well, Jason has shown me how to cement my knowledge and get a lot more confident using the french language.

Jason has a great sense of humour and bags of enthusiasm which makes learning fun. In my view, the fact that he is English means that he is able to explain many of the subtleties/idiosyncrasies of the French language in a way that perhaps a native French speaker could not do. He is able to help beginners as well as those who are more advanced. Resources such as word banks have been really helpful.Weekly dictées have been invaluable in helping to improve my comprehension, vocabulary and grammar. Highly recommend. Thank you Jason.

Jason is fantastic!! I was very nervous about learning French again after having a bad teaching experience at school but Jason makes it fun every lesson and ensures we have a good time. The lessons are well thought out and his teaching method's work so well for me and my partner. We started in November 20 and have come on leaps and bounds! We highly recommend Jason and we look forward to meeting him in person soon!
