Mon mari m’a invité dans ce restaurant pour mon anniversaire et on s’est régalé !!J’ai adoré les escargots et l’entrecôte.Très bonne ambiance sans musique et personnel agréable.Merci pour ce moment délicieux et à très bientôt

One of the most decadent lunches I've had in a long time, and I couldn't be happier. From the huge slab of foie gras with bread and jam to the hearty pot of boeuf bourguignon paired with rice, mashed potatoes, and polenta, everything was simple, rustic, filling, and absolutely delicious. Pricing was very fair with great service to boot, I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Just enjoyed a meal here, I speak very limited french but the service was great, advice on portion sizes being big for my 7 year old son to avoid a starter. Food was fantastic, not rushed and very friendly staff. Unfortunately only found it on our last night here.

Tasty South-Western France traditional restaurant. Basque dishes are proposed in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly and there is a small terrace to eat outside.

Une adresse qui a du changer de main, après des années de gestion passionnée on ne retrouve pas la même ambiance. La cuisine est bonne, assez chère mais ça reste une bonne adresse hormis la salle un peu étriquée et peu adaptée pour des plats volumineux…

Repas vraiment bon, nous étions une quinzaine et tous le monde était plutôt satisfait.Le pavé de saumon était très bon.Les assortiment, riz, purée etc.. étaient servie dans des petits bol à part et à partager, ce qui nous à permis de pouvoir goûter un peu de tout.La bière basque était plutôt bonne aussi.Petit point en moins sur les boissons type soda qui sont servis en petite quantité je trouve.Le service et l'ambiance est vraiment top, les serveurs sont tous très sympathique.Je recommande vraiment

Fuimos por una recomendación y quedamos encantados con el local, la comida y sobre todo con la atención del personal. Nos sentimos como en casa. Los entrantes escogidos fueron la terrina de rabo de toro y la cazuela de escargot. Los principales fueron bisteck de ternera con cebolla y strogonoff de ternera, acompañados con arroz y puré. El toque final fue el postre: un trío de tapas dulces (tiramisú, mousse de chocolate y ensalada de frutas) y un baba au rhum (como un bizcocho con ron y crema). La comida estuvo deliciosa, buenas porciones

We went to A LOT OF restaurants in Paris and I can tell you this restaurant has the BEST food! Great snails with mushroom, great selection of meat for appetizer, amazing steak and veal. You want to visit this place, we will definitely go back

Nous avons habité pendant des années dans le 15e et ce restaurant était notre cantine.Nous avons déménagé dans un autre arrondissement et revenions régulièrement au Volant Basque avec les amis, la famille.Nous sommes maintenant expatriés et lors de notre séjour parisien, nous avons eu grand grand plaisir à y retourner: les plats sont excellents, le personnel est adorable et il y règne toujours une très belle ambiance.Merci pour cette belle soirée et à bientôt!

I was told this restaurant had authentic French cuisine and it lived up to the challenge. We did make reservations for 2, but arrived early and they sat us outside for a table for two. The weather was perfect for July and we were in the shade. We ordered 2 Jack Daniels and water and for an appetizer the waitress suggested the escargot with mushrooms. The food came in a dish that was shared with a french baguette. The dish was flavorful and rich with sauce that was savory. We ordered the beef bourguignon and the duck confit to try traditional french dishes. The food was AMAZING!! the duck was crispy with tender dark meat and the beef was so tender in the wine sauce with mushrooms... absolutely delicious. They serve three sides, polenta, mashed potatoes and long grain rice. There was nothing left. We shared a chocolate mousse that was the perfect ending and not too much to share. The owner brought us a complementary glass of after dinner liquor. This was our first day in Paris and we will visit again. Lovely time.

Restaurant sympathique, excellent accueil, bonne qualité des plats, qui pourraient cependant avoir un peu plus de saveur. Prix plutôt élevé.La carte est simple mais suffisante, signe de fait maison. Bon choix de vins dont certains au verre. Bière basque ambrée agréable. Cassolette d'escargots et champignons excellente, particulièrement les champignons.Les plats sont biens servis. Personnel attentif.

Very cozy Basque restaurant with a focus on offal dishes. That was my main reason to go there and they definitely did not disappoint! The restaurant and waitstaff were friendly and casual, the starter of what I believe was porcini mushrooms with escargot in parsley butter great. The main course was the three offals (veal kidney, liver and sweetbread) in mushroom jus - the liver definitely went past medium, but the other two were just perfect. You'll get three sides, of vegetable rice (meh), mashed potatoes (amazing) and another mash of some root vegetable (also great). Starter, main, large fizzy water and coffee came to €47.
