Best residence in reims to live in!

Terrible experience! Unfortunately lived half year in this place, and I followed all the rules and principals in this building. But I can never get back my housing deposit! That's a lot of money and no a staff willing to help, and no response at all, very disgusting company. Shame on Crous Reims

Been 8 months now that I have left France and yet no news of my EUR 300 deposit. Have been following up and even threatened to press legal charges but to no response

If you consider this residence as your potential accommodation, please reconsider. I would not wish to stay there even to my worst enemy. I barely ever write negative reviews, BUT my experience with this residence had so many flaws that I won’t be even able to list them all.Let’s start with pure facts:- staff enters your room without an appointment!- you can get a lower-class room (without a great part of the furniture elements) even if you paid for a standard: there won’t be a chance to change it;- don’t expect your room to be cleaned when you first enter your room;- the fire alarm in your room can start beeping loudly even when you are sleeping (without any reason);- there are bed bugs in some rooms;- prepare yourself for cold days and nights, because the heating comes and goes;- if you are non french native, there is barely any chance that you would resolve any problem regarding your room (they will pretend they don’t understand your french and obviously they will not speak in english with you);- the stories about a non-refundable deposit is true: they will literally create stories or ignore you (though I would say after an amazing time in this lovely residence I would not only claim my deposit back, but also a moral refund).STORY TIMEAccording to my contract I was supposed to live in room 413, though when I first came to the residence I was given room 321. At that point, I thought that all of the rooms were identical, BUT in reality I was given a lower-class room (even though I paid for another one).When I just entered the room, I was shocked 1) the room was extremely dirty 2) it lacked many furniture elements that were seen on the images of ex-tenants and in the brochure of the residence.I decided not to host a scandal over the cleaning condition (I regret I did not), but I asked the residence authority why there is barely any furniture in my room. They said the reason is that 321 is a lower-class, so I asked why am I not in a room prescribed with a contract. The residence hosts were a bit confused with what to reply and said that the room that is officially prescribed to be is under maintenance work (I have never seen any maintenance workers in the residence). I asked for a refund due to a lower-class room I received, but got a rejection.I am not a fluent french speaker, so I could not communicate well and nobody was willing to even try understanding my english (welcome to the international residence where no one will help you).I had no choice (accommodations should be rented in advance + no chance to refund the money), so I stayed in those conditions. During these months,(1) I experienced a fire alarm yelling specifically in my room during the night even though I was sleeping (note that at night there is noone at the reception to resolve your problem).(2) I experienced bed bugs when I just came to the room, my body was itching with red bumps all over it.(3) Several times maintenance people were entering the room without an appointment: sometimes even without a knock (imagine the privacy level !). Several times when they were about to enter, I said that I am not comfortable with them coming at this specific time, but I was ignored and they still entered without my permission. PS. they were entering in order to check the conditions, not becauseI was noisy or anything like that.It’s been a while. I am trying to win the battle for a deposit. During this time I was hearing the stories that my account is not like they need, then when I changed it they needed a special confirmation paper from the bank, then when they received it they started purely ignoring my messages.Do I need this deposit back so desperately? Maybe not. But I would say this residence owes me way more than this deposit, they owe me and my family A MORAL REFUND (imagine my family that was listening to my horrible stories from overseas without a chance to help me out).I wonder if employee residence employees have their families, if they have kids.. because there was almost nothing human in them.

Very difficult to get back the Security Deposit once you have vacated the Residence. It has been 6 months now that I am following up on my Security Deposit of 338 Euros, but nothing has happened so far. No Honesty & Integrity in the dealing. Once paid, consider your money gone.

Residence à fuir !Logement auquel on ne peut compter que sur sois même.Dans mon logement Crous des mon arrivée il y avait :- des traces de brûlures sur le sol- des traces de brûlures sur le rideau de douche- les deux evier fuient...- A cause des fuite du levier principal, le meuble qui est en dessous de levier est uséSur l'ancien porte savon il y a des traces de rouille !Les filtres à air du côté des fenêtre ne sont pas nettoyer, je suis obligée de le nettoyer moi même...La fenêtre ne se ferme pas correctement, ce qui fait que l'hiver est rude...Il y a même pas de table de nuit ( commode ) à côté du lit, il a fallut que ce soit mon père qu'il en amène unOn est obligé de payer pour la machine à laverIl y a que 3 machine à laver et deux sèche linge pour 2 residence ( plus de 100 personnes)Le modèle de construction des bâtiments est inspiré d'une prison depuis l'architecture, ce qui n'est pas très motivant pour des étudiants...Et pour combler le tout, pour avoir du réseau, il faut ce connecter avec le cable ethernet et la wifi pour pouvoir ce connecter au réseau, même un moment donner je n'avais plus d'internet depuis le mois de juillet jusqu'à aoûtEn plus de ça, même si je pars début août, même si je rends les clé, il faut quand même que je paye le mois d'août.Et pour combler le tout, il faut ce plaindre pour savoir quand est ce qu'on a la caution.Pour résumer, prendre le logement crous est plus une anarque plutôt qu'autre chose, et qui est trop chère payer pour les étudiants, surtout pour le peux d'investissement quil y a ( c'est a dire rien du tout )!Avec tout les points que j'avais cité précédemment, et en plus de ça qu'il me demande de payer un logement tout aussi défectueux que lamentable, je prends ça plus pour du vol !

Personnellement à l'accueil très désagréable aucun respect pour les enfants et surtout un vocabulaire à revoir cette personne à passer l'âge de travail elle devrait aller en retraite vue son comportement avec les jeunes adultes .J'ai était témoin d'une scène digne d'un films ou cette personne a était d'une vulgarité inimaginable pauvre enfant faite attention à vos enfants quand vous les envoyez à cette administration
