Les Enfants Rouges
Les Enfants Rouges is one of the more interesting restaurants I was lucky to visit during my time in Paris. As a Japanese and French fusion, the menu offers a variety of twists and takes on a number of highly-traditional offerings and makes them wholly unique and memorable in their combination. The dinner menu consisted of an introductory course, followed by a main and dessert. I selected the mackerel as my appetizer, followed by the duck main course, and an almond tart dessert. The mackerel was extremely flavorful and tender, complimented by a number of mildly sour and starchy extras to balance the flavor of the meat. The duck was prepared excellently and also included a cabbage leaf dumpling filled with scallops. Overall, the meal was unique, delicious, and highly enjoyable. The dinner service was also extremely efficient and attentive, with staff whisking away plates, extra plates, and finished dishes in the blink of an eye, before quickly bringing out fresh items, drinks, and more. I highly recommend Les Enfants Rouges for a delicious dinner. I also recommend booking reservations early as the dining area is small and tends to fill up quickly.

We've been to many good restaurants, but this one was amazing and one of the best we've ever been to. Everything that we ordered was unbelievably delicious, full of flavour and quite original with Japanese and French fusion. The staff was super efficient and fun. The only reason I did not give 5 stars for atmosphere is that it is quite small and gets noisy. We will definitely go back when next in Paris.

Excellente table parisienne cachée dans une rue discrète où le chef mélange avec brio cuisine française et inspirations japonaises ! Le service est parfait, rapide. Les plats sont délicieux et les desserts, incroyables ! Nous nous sommes régalés. J’étais déjà venue il y a quelques années et je suis ravie d’avoir pu redécouvrir cette belle adresse.

Menus à 50€ le midi (en semaine) avec Entrée, plat et dessert.Mise en bouche : une petite mousse de maïs très originale. Très bon pain légèrement grillé en accompagnement.Entrées : Daurade marinée excellente, assaisonnement parfait / Terrine d’agneau pas mal aussi.Plat : Tempura de maigre aux algues très bon et très original. Les légumes croquants, cuits à la vapeur et grillés. Très belle assiette, bien servie.Dessert : aux figues avec petites glaces yaourt, mousse matcha pistaches et menthe terriblement délicieux !2 petits bémols :Le verre de Sancerre (Sauvignon blanc ) vendu au verre 10€ manquait d’équilibre. Et en général les vins au verre (14/21€) et la coupe de Champagne (18€) sont onéreux. La prochaine fois nous prendrons une bouteille de 75cl !Et l'espace étant un peu petit c'est un peu bruyant. Mais on s’y fait.En tous cas, un grand bravo au chef. Nous nous sommes vraiment régalées. Et merci également au service qui est prévenant et agréable.Je recommandes vivement.

Blown away by the quality of the lunch course, especially compared to the price. This place at least deserves a bib gourmand imho. The grapefruit lychee dessert was such an ideal assembly of tart, crisp, and sweet - and the textures! All very interesting flavour combinations from both Japanese and French influences. Highly recommended!

The fish soup for starter was incredibly unappetizing, extremely fishy, and almost impossible to swallow. The fishy odor was so strong that it could be smelled across the table when it was served. The main course, rabbit meat, was also extremely fishy. The first few bites were tolerable, but as I continued, the fishy taste grew stronger, making it impossible to continue eating. The dessert was average. Won't be coming back and won’t recommend to anyone

One of the best restaurants in Paris!!! My wife and I had their surprise menu for 90 euros. Dish after dish was flavourful, beautifully plated and well balanced. Service, well, like all Japanese service, very attentive.My only regret was not trying this place earlier. We will most definitely be back.
