This B&B is a definite gem. The location is 5 minutes (or less) on foot to Eiffel Tower. The place is clean, quiet, and very comfortable. It is very roomy and every piece of furniture is perfectly stationed. Lighting just right, and room temperature/humility perfectly maintained in a cold rainy November day.My husband is an architect and I've done model home staging for 20 years. We were so pleasantly surprised on how thoughtful this place was put together. From higher ceilings in living room to the Marine nautical windows; the wall rails to closets.We ended up spending much of our precious tourist time with the owner of Simpatico, endless questions about his thought process remodeling it. Sure enough he is an architect by training, his pride and passion transparent. A place like th this could only come from a true gentleman.So if you ever have the good fortune to stay there, don't just stop at the famous tourist spots, touch the round window weldings, feel the gentle arch of the gluelam beans, enjoy the rich colors. You're in for an architectural designer's treat.
