Woody's hooked in france

How have we not heard of Woody's before now? Word of mouth goes a long way. I have been going to French lakes fishing for the past 7 years with my Son and Uncle, We have found a lake with real owners that care for the customers that are looking to have a good experience in France. Simon and Kyrsteen, Thank you for all your help during our stay, August 5th to 12th 2023. The food package was excellent and comes highly recommended to anyone looking to book up. I give this experience a 9/10 on all things related to France fishing.

I've been fishing in France for 7 years. This has got to be the best trip so far. The lake is stunning and very well maintained. The host, Simon and Kristen ( sorry if I spelt ur name wrong). They are so helpful and very accommodating with anything you may need during your stay. If wanted, Simon will offer advice, where to fish, and how to fish. Not everyone is an expert carp angler. If no help is needed, then they will leave you alone during your stay.The food package is amazing, You WILL NOT go hungry. There is no need for any second thoughts about booking this place. Go for it. You will not regret it.

4 of us have just returned from Woodys and I can honestly recommend it. Anyone thinking of going, don't hesitate, book it up. Simon and his dad cannot not do enough for you, from walking you around the lake upon arrival, showing you all the likely feeding spots to offering to go and get pizzas throughout out the week. The lake surrounding are picturesque and very clean. There is a nicely stocked lodge which has everything from items of tackle, bait, chocolate bars, beers ect. Between us our group landed 21 carp, including a few of the big girls.Tally below1 x 502 x 40's7 x 30's6 x 20's5 x teensWe will be returning thats for sure.Thanks Simon for a great trip!

3 of us just got back from a week of fishing. I highly recommend this place. Great location stunning grounds and the best part the stock of fish. Its kept very well by Simon.Simon was a great help and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend using his own bait and pellet which he makes on site. I will definitely he returning

What an absolutely stunning lake Simon and Kirsteen have, it’s the perfect carp lake with two islands, Lilly pads overhanging trees this place is truly idyllic and the stamp of fish in here are amazing!! Thanks to you both for being such amazing hosts, we will definitely be coming back again!!

WOODYS HOOKED IN FRANCE where do I start? From the moment we arrived Simon and Kyrsteen were very accommodating made us feel very welcome. Simon then gave us a tour of where he makes the bait and the tackle shop and other facilities .Took us for a walk around the lake and pointed out multiple hot spots in every swims, we then set up in double island where we hit it off on the first night. Caught multiple fish from this peg. Moved round to big double 3 days later where I then had big hits of fish also. There was no stopping me, then for the final night I dropped into the naturals and well I only went and caught odd scale @ 66lb9oz, blown away. What a week memories I’ll never forget thanks for everything Simon and Kyrsteen I’ll see you next year to do it all again. Big love

First fishing trip to France. and all I can say is wow. When we arrived Simon took us for a walk around the lake informing us of previous spots and what has workedThen had all of our bait prepared ready to go.The lake is lovely. surrounded by trees has that real private and personal feelingSwims are good distance apart and each have a very decent amount of water to fishThe stamp of fish are amazing, by no means is it an easy water but following the advice will put you on the fishThe meal deal is 100% worth it. The breakfast baguettes were beautiful and the selection of evening meals were all superb and very decent portions. Dropped off to the peg every morning and eveningI've had the best fishing experience here at woodys breaking my PBs of every carp speciesGet the timing right and you can have a session of a lifetime

Absolutely amazing venue!! Simon and Kyrsteen are fantastic hosts with a dedicated care and passion for making your experience a great one. The fishing is amazing with some absolutely beautiful fish swimming around. Caught my new PB this week and can’t wait to come again next year! I would highly recommend the food package Kyrsteen makes an amazing meal! Simon is a fountain of knowledge and experience when it comes to getting a bend in the rod! all French seeking carp anglers you should seriously consider woodys hooked in France as your next French adventure!
