What a 5 star experience! Stephan was always quick to respond to my many emailed questions. We spent 2 days with Stephan in Epernay and Reims. I gave him a few must see houses and he tailored the perfect experience which included a small local wine tasting, which ended up being one of the favorites. We had an incredible private lunch pairing one day and he wife made us an absolutely delicious picnic pairing the second day. Stephan is very knowledgeable about French history, champagne making, and the champagne houses. What an amazing trip, I highly recommend Stephan, he made my birthday experience very special.

Firstly, Stéphane was an exceptional guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and went out of his way to ensure we had an unforgettable time. He was able to provide us with a lot of information about the history of the champagne region and the different champagne houses we visited.The 2 and 1/2 day tour itself was very well planned and organized. We were able to visit a variety of champagne houses , from large and well-known to the smaller, family - owned ones. This gave us a great insight into the different approaches to champagne-making and allowed us to taste a wide range of champagnes.One of the highlights of the tour was visiting Veuve Clicquot , Moët & Chandon and Pommery. These houses have a long and rich history and it was fascinating to learn their processes and techniques. However the small houses offered more of an intimate and personalized experience. We were able to meet the owners and hear their stories. The champagnes at all houses visited, produced were truly exceptional.Overall, I would highly recommend booking a tour with Stéphane for anyone interested in learning more about champagne and the region. A special treat from Stéphane was opening his home for an amazing lunch with his wife. Stéphane was an excellent guide who made this experience unforgettable. We opted for 3 days with Stephane from Tours in Champagne and it was an incredible experience! Stephane is truly an expert in champagne and his network and contacts reach far and wide - enabling him to develop highly customized experiences based on what you want to learn, taste, and see while in the Reims/Epernay area. It’s easy to book tours and tastings for the large houses - and be part of a group experience. I did want to see 1-2 large houses - but my primary interest was to meet with and have tastings with the small family growers. What a industry, that each tour is unique based on what you want to experience.After 3 days of drinking vintage Grand Cru and Premiere Cru champwe were foreverStephane has a connection with someone who can ship back the 2 cases I bought. The champagne from the small houses was so extraordinary, we had to buy as much as we could … and the prices were very enticing!Stephane took us to local restaurants for lunch and his lovely wife Priscille prepared an extraordinary lunch for us on one day! Throughout each day Stephane shares his knowledge and expertise about champagne with such interesting stories!Stephane has the unique ability to view each persons interests as unique and creates the right itinerary to match! I really valued having the private tasting experiences and the opportunity to taste outstanding champagne that highlights the unique terroir of the area and have the ability to appreciate vintage Grand Cru and Premiere Cru champagne - each and every one of the 1.2M bubbles in a glass of champagne!Highly recommend booking at least 2 days with Stephane and let him create the magical champagne experience you’re seeking! You haven’t experienced champagne if you haven’t gone with Stephane! He is a kind and deeply knowledgeable guide, not to mention a wonderful storyteller. He customized my day, taking me to a woman-led boutique winery for an intimate experience, followed by a tour of Pommery where he walked me through the art exhibit followed by a tasting. He was a wonderful translator and he shared so many incredible stories of some of the most influential women in champagne history. The icing on the cake was his selection of restaurants for lunch. The food was phenomenal and he shared that the chef turned away the Michelin team because he didn’t want to make the changes they suggested. Clearly, he’s doing everything right. The 3 course lunch was one of the best I had in my trip. The entire day was very special and well worth the money. I would recommend Stephane to anyone and I can’t wait to visit again! Don’t think twice. Stephane is from this area and has deep knowledge and experience that you won’t get from a larger tour operator. In fact, I learned more from him in a single day than I did from a large tour operator in Turkey over two weeks.

Stephane was a fantastic guide on our Champagne journey. He really is an ambassador for Champagne. He also looked after us so well - even meeting us on the train platform. We loved the variety of the Champagne houses we visited. We saw some incredible sights and tasted some truly special Champagnes. We learnt so much and Stephane is a fount of knowledge. We couldn’t have asked for anything more! It was a truly special experience which we loved.

We were so happy we found Stephane! Do not hesitate to book your Champagne experiences with him. He is personable, kind, and very clear in his directions. We had a self-guided tour, which was fine for our 3rd day in Champagne. But Stephane has a wide range of options at his company. If it’s your first or only day, book a tour with him as a guide. Stéphane nous a conduit chez un ami à lui, un vigneron passionné et passionnant. Il a profite de la route pour nous faire découvrir les paysages champenois qui renferment évidemment une partie des secrets de cette boisson merveilleuse. Chez son ami, un vigneron récoltant-manipulant nous avons eu la chance d'assister à la confection de A à Z d'une bouteille de champagne selon les méthodes traditionnelles (donc artisanales). Le tout ponctué par des dégustations très agréables ! Une expérience fascinante, délicieuse et agréable. Merci

We started the tour at Pommery, impressive caves and the story behind it that was told by our tour guy Stephene. We visited other Champagne domaines and has lunch at an amazing family owned restaurant . The tour was tailored for exactly what we wanted it to see and that was the great thing about this company. No other company does that. We did an all day tour to maximize our time in the Champagne region. Stephene is extremely knowledgeable and we were glad we chose this company as our tour guide. We highly recommend them.

As a local, born and raised in the vineyards of Reims, she possessed an impressive knowledge of the champagne making process and the charming villages nearby. What truly set Lisa apart was her ability to tailor the experience to our preferences, granting us access to the finest champagne houses we had been longing to visit.
