Nicole was the perfect Wedding Planner. She made planning a wedding in the middle of a world pandemic completely easy. She took all the stress of planning a wedding from us. She helped us organise the best 4 days of our lives. No task was too big or small. In the planning, she had a giant checklist, so we didn't have to worry about any of the little things. When the time was right, she sent us info on what to do next. She has amazing connections and every single supplier she suggested, exceeded our expectations! She organised the food for all 4 days and every meal was nothing but delicious. My hair and makeup were beyond incredible. She knew exactly what I was looking for. She was even happy to help implement my dogs in our wedding day. Unfortunately, my sister couldn't attend the wedding and Nicole was nothing but happy to help me find a cut out of my sister, 24 hours before the wedding. I couldn't recommend Nicole more. The wedding would not have been the same without her.

I don't even know how to put into words how amazing Nicole is!We met in 2019 and started planning our wedding for 2020. I don't speak French so the fact that Nicole speaks both English and French was so helpful but whilst speaking with her I felt like we'd known each other for years. Nicole is enthusiastic, knows her trade inside and out plus you'd never guess she's juggling other weddings as she gives 100% of her attention.Nicole also showed just how good she is at her job when our wedding was postponed not once but twice during COVID and within a couple of days we had a new date and all of the suppliers were reconfirmed. She made such a horrible and stressful time as good as it could be as F and I didn't even need to think about all the logistics involved in moving dates.On the wedding day there was no stress as we knew Nicole has everything in check which left us to enjoy the day when it finally came.We feel like we've made a friend in Nicole and hope to see her very soon.Thank you Nicole, we really couldn't have done it without you. I hired Nicole “pure expression events” because a venue I was considering had recommended her. They recommended her solely on the fact that she “spoke great English”. That was probably the worst decision I made through my wedding planning journey. This review is specifically for her ‘event management’. I will say she is very professional and takes her job seriously, but on that note this is very clearly her job not her passion. Beware that she is in no way forthcoming with details which I didn’t find out until after signing the contract and sending the deposit. After she receives your deposit, she sends an email with her limited working hours as well as how she prefers to communicate. She asks you to use her planning software only to communicate which is not really designed for proper communication. It feels very impersonal. She is not very excited and really doesn’t have any great ideas to make your wedding day special. I decided to fire her midway through planning and take the loss of my deposit (which was not an easy thing to do) because all of the other vendors I hired would say ‘what does your planner think about X Y Z?’ I found myself not wanting to even ask her thoughts because she would respond days later with no enthusiasm or suggestions to help make our wedding special where I felt all my other vendors were so helpful, creative and almost doing her job. I really felt like it was a burden for her to help us. That’s when I decided to start interviewing other planners, and then it became evident during the interviews with other planners that Nicole has no passion for wedding planning. During these interviews, they helped guide me more than Nicole ever did. She really let me down in our wedding venue search. She would only have negative things to say about the venues I liked online and would never recommend anything else that fit what we were looking for. I’m almost wondering if she gets a commission because she kept recommending 2 specific venues (1 of which wasn’t available on the dates I needed). She even talked badly and mislead us about the original venue that recommended her! So AFTER I signed the contract with a completely different venue, I discovered another popular venue available the dates I needed exactly within my wants and needs for a venue. Nicole had never even mentioned it. So please if you are looking to get married in the Bordeaux region please interview lots of planners and pick the one that is the most excited for you and gives you a sense that this is what they love doing. There are plenty of planners that speak great English (if that’s what you need). Even if they are from France, England etc. just please don’t settle. You deserve the BEST! In my honest and humble opinion, Nicole is not it. I dislike giving bad reviews, but I really wish I help save another couple from the sadness we’ve experienced during what is supposed to be such a happy time.

Nicole worked a wedding I was photographing at Chateau Gassies, and she left a lasting impression! She coordinated fluently between the British clients/suppliers and the local French suppliers. Not only did she manage the day seamlessly, she also made sure all the suppliers were taken care off. Thank you Nicole for the incredible experience!

We loved working with Nicole and her team at Petillante Weddings. As the bride my priority was to find a wedding planner who could remove stress, make recommendations and make the process as smooth as possible. Nicole assembled a great group of vendors, checked in regularly and when it came to the wedding weekend nailed the brief! As the bride by the time we got to the wedding I wanted to be left to enjoy the day, no questions or concerns about the schedule. We had an amazing weekend with all our friends, curated by Nicole- would not hesitate to reccomend her!

I was an extremely “particular” bride, I was a professional wedding coordinator for 5 years, and was planning a wedding in France while I lived in Tennessee and spoke zero French. So picking the best coordinator I could find was a nonnegotiable. I had calls with more than 5 different planners before picking Nicole. Let me just say I did the legwork and research so you don’t have to, trust me - just book with Nicole! She is kind and personable and a true professional. The resources she provides throughout planning are incredible and her execution is top notch. She would have weekly calls leading up to the wedding where sometimes I wouldjust complain and she would talk through solutions. I wanted to switch venues/dates halfway through planning and she guided me through the logistics of that. She made time to come see me on the day we arrived in the region. She made last minute welcome bags and delivered them to multiple locations because ours got stuck in customs! We partied a little too hard and a group of guests missed the last shuttle and she literally helped us drive them home. We put so much time, effort, and money into this event and I am so thankful to have trusted Nicole, who executed it flawlessly.

Short story long - Originally planned for 2020 in the heart of Provence, our wedding ended up slipping to 2022. As we dealt with pandemic and familial loss over the years leading up to it, Nicole stood by our side going above and beyond a wedding planners duty. She helped us battle to extend our contracts and maintain our dream vendors through not one, but two postponements. She checked in regularly not just on the wedding but also on how we were personally doing throughout. All of this on top of planning the most magical wedding that we could imagine with over a dozen vendors from across Europe (and Australia). During the stressful process, Nicole became a close confidant and friend who I would recommend to anyone planning a fete in France. – Antonia & John

Nicole is a fantastic wedding planner and so easy to work with! She was always accommodating with my extremely busy schedule and made planning a destination wedding not only relatively easy, but also fun! Throughout the yearlong planning process, she kept us on track without making us feel overwhelmed. To select each vendor, it was as simple as picking our favorite from a curated list, and then Nicole took care of the rest! Everything somehow turned out perfect: the venue (which Nicole helped us find), the decorations/florals, food, cake, live band, and photobooth! Could not have imagined a more beautiful and fun party to celebrate with all of our closest friends and family =)

Nicole is literally the best wedding planner. She did not just meet our expectations; she blew them out of the water. Our guests (and my husband and I) were in awe. Everything went so smoothly in every single event she planned. Not to mention the vendors that she recommended were absolutely amazing. There was not a single stress thanks to Nicole. Everyone said it was the most beautiful wedding they’d ever been to. It was all due to Nicole. We cannot thank her enough!
