Loire Winery Tours

Linda and Keith provided a wonderful tour of wineries in Vouvray and Touraine. The personalized touch, focus on smaller independent producers, and the context of their own experience working in the wine business both internationally and in the Loire provided for a great day. Our only regret is not having a second day to head further west. They made the entire experience incredibly approachable without any pretentiousness.

Our day of wine tasting with Keith and Linda was a highlight of our trip to France. They were friendly and personable, and we appreciated that they took us to wineries that covered several of the local appellations. The picnic lunch they provided was one of our favorite meals of the week. A main reason we chose to do a tour with them is because they were able to facilitate shipping wine back to the US. From pick up to drop off, they made it a wonderful day for us, and we would absolutely book again with them.

What can we say that hasn't already been said in the other reviews!?!?! Keith and Linda make your day very special! Talking with them is like being with your best friend! They are personable, knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, endearing, patient, and fun . . . need I keep on gushing about them?? It was just my husband, adult daughter and me. We visited two vineyards in the morning: Vins de Chinon Béatrice et Pascal LAMBERT, and La Grande Vignolle in Turquant. Keith and Linda clearly have a great relationship with the people/owners of the vineyards; they are more community than business. We enjoyed tasting the many varieties wines at each of these places. Our tour also included a fabulous lunch, the fresh salads grown and made by Linda, served in a old pigeon house or Dovecote which was used during the 16TH AND 17TH centuries, in France, up until the Revolution. Dovecotes were reserved for landowners, mainly from the nobility, for their meat and to collect pigeon droppings, which made an excellent crop fertilizer. Very cool. We had such a great time during our half day trip, that my husband wanted to share the afternoon with them, if they weren't already booked. Keith and Linda were gracious and made some calls and we were able to also visit the Domaine Frederic Mabileau tasting room. Another wonderful experience!! We hated to end our day when they dropped us off at our B&B. But we are looking forward to getting the pictures Linda took of use, and the 18 bottles of wine we are having shipped home!! Keith and Linda provided the best wine tour experience that I have had to-date after visiting various wine regions in France, Portugal, Spain and Italy. They were so friendly and welcoming, and able to tailor the tour to our needs and level of understanding. They also selected interesting vineyards, each with their own unique production methods and history. It is also clear that they have really nice and established relationships with wineries in the region, given their rich experience in the food and wine industry. In addition, the lunch that they provided was exceptional and relaxing, and an idyllic way to spend a day in the French countryside. Highly recommend to anyone who is interested in wine and curated tour experiences.

My wife and I had a blast with Keith and Linda in the Loire Valley. We did a half day tour and we couldn't have been happier with the wine and delicious lunch they prepared for us. We'll definitely go back to them when back in the Loire Valley.

Keith and Linda are THE BEST. Hands down, one of the favorite parts of my time in France was the wine tour that they facilitated. They picked us up where we were staying, were so knowledgeable and hospitable, and really know how to put together a fabulous charcuterie board.Their years of experience in the wine industry shines through during the tour and so does their passion for their work - we couldn’t have picked better tour guides for the day.If you’re not booking the Loire Winery Tour with Keith and Linda, you’re definitely making a mistake. 100/10 recommend and we hope to be back again in the future!- The Oklahomans

An amazing day. We saw three local wineries around Chinon trying around 12-15 different wines. Great chat with the winemakers and a beautiful lunch Linda prepared (nothing comes close to home cooked food !) strongly recommended and worth x2 the price !!

Keith and Linda put on an excellent tour at 3 really interesting Domaines. They are very knowledgeable on both the area and all matters food and wine. More importantly, great people to spend time with, charming and good fun. We were a large family group and they accommodated us perfectly, including a great lunch in a dove-cote. Everyone had a fantastic time. We drank some excellent wines and some funky experimental stuff too, so something for everyone. I would not hesitate to book again next time I come to this wonderful part of France. Finally, we should all be drinking more Loire wines, there are many gems to be had.

Really a stellar tour and a highlight of our trip across France. Kieth and Linda were so easy to spend the day with and really know their stuff. We learned a lot from them, enjoyed the wine, and had a magical picnic with uniquely French things we hadn’t tried before.They have a special relationship with the owners of the vineyards which makes the tastings that much more special. We come from the US where wineries have big tasting rooms so this could have been much more intimidating without them leading the way. Lastly we found their ability to help us ship wine back home incredibly helpful. We might have bought a little too much, but they took it in stride and we so appreciate their help so we can keep experiencing our favorite wine which we learned about once the vacation is over. We hope to come back and do it all over again.

Our Loire Winery Tours experience quite exceeded our expectations! Keith and Linda are warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable hosts. The tour was perfect blend of education, sight-seeing, lovely personalized moments and, most importantly, delightful tastings of wines from Chinon and Saumur. Questions before and after booking were quickly answered with very helpful info.
