Château de Burnand

This was out third stay at a Kasteliades property and every one of them have exceeded expectations. Chateau du Burnand is a little further south (about an hour from Beaune), but with the lovely village of Saint Gengoux le National nearby, and several hiking paths (a church from 1031? Just down the hill from the chateau) accessible from the house and all of its amenities, you should be in no hurry to leave. With 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers, outdoor grill and a well-equipped kitchen, preparing meals for our larger group was a breeze. Christophe and Sylvia have once again done a masterful job with the restoration and outfitted the chateau well with aesthetically pleasing decor that befits the grand canvas of the home. As always, they were unfailingly pleasant, responsive and communicative throughout our stay. They will even help you pre-stock your wine fridge with affordable selections from the area prior to your arrival. A nice touch for the weary traveler. We’ll be back!

Très bon séjour passé au château de Burnand en famille. Nous en avons bien profité, un beau cadre touristique pour faire de bonnes balades à vélo.

A long way from any towns, so a car very necessary

The Chateau de Burnand is magnificent! The views are spectacular--rolling hills and gorgeous scenery. There are hiking trails all around the chateau just steps from the chateau. The swimming pool is a great place to relax and enjoy the views. It has a cover that allows you to swim under it if it is raining or chilly. This place is magical. The kitchen is well equipped--two refrigerators and there is a washer/dryer. The owner is a professional who makes sure his properties are well maintained.

Chateau de Burnand is magical. The owner pays attention to every detail so that every possible step is taken to preserve historical aspects of this amazing chateau. However, guests can still enjoy the convenience of modern appliances and amenities. The views are spectacular. Some of the hiking trails are relaxing and easy while others are more challenging. This suited our group very well. Our vacation at Chateau de Burnand was one of the best we've ever had.

The owner has created a dreamlike place at Chateau de Burnand.Everything is perfect. The Chateau, the rooms, the pool and the garden.The sorroundings and the region, the service .
