I have reached out to Joanna during the second half of my pregnancy, when I was so lost and confused with the advice received from the midwife I was seeing and needed some clarity from a person who believes in and promotes a natural and physiological approach towards pregnancy and birth.I've done the 1:1 Positive Birth Preparation with Joanna and I can tell you that the knowledge and tools Joanna has taught me, as well as the ongoing emotional support, not only that gave me the confidence I needed in order to plan and succeed in having the perfect, most positive and relaxed home birth, but also some really useful tools for life.I cannot recommend Joanna enough when it comes to antenatal and hypnobirthing education. She is definitely the go to person if you want the emotional and informational support needed for a natural, physiological birth.

As a first-time mum giving birth in one of the Parisian hospitals and receiving no support whatsoever, I have reached out to Joanna, as I was really struggling feeding my daughter in the first days at home. I've sent an enquiry in the middle of the night, sobbing and desperately needing support. She sensed the urgent cry for help, so she kindly offered a few tips and tricks to get me through the night, then visited us in the morning.She helped me correct the feeding position, as I did not know how to properly latch my daughter on, and she taught me how to evaluate if she was feeding correctly and efficiently.Then, even though there was no need for a paid follow-up visit, she still helped me when I was facing a challenge, following up with calls and texts when needed. She managed to put me at ease with everything, from cluster feeding, to different leaps and changes in the feeding pattern, which for me seemed overwhelming to begin with.What I loved about her is that, even so I paid only for 1 initial private consultation, she unconditionally offered her support moving forward too... She was always there, supporting me both practically, but most importantly, emotionally. Without her I would have never succeeded breastfeeding more than a few days. I will always be grateful to her.
