Château de Bressey

Sembra di entrare in un mondo di fiabe: il castello, il parco, la deliziosa orangerie che ci ospita in camere arredate con mobili antichi... Poi la colazione, servita in un salone della villa, i candelabri sul tavolo enorme. Intorno al tavolo, persone da ogni parte d'Europa; e la castellana, gentilissima, serve tutti con estrema cortesia passando disinvoltamente da un lingua all'altra. Il tutto a un prezzo assolutamente abbordabile. Che cosa si potrebbe desiderare di più?

J'ai payé pour une chambre décrite avec plateau bouilloir,kitchenette réfrigérateur ustensiles de cuisine machine à café coin micro-ondes coin bureau, ventilateur détecteur de fumée chaussons lecteur dvd entièrement au rez-de-chaussée, j'ai eu une chambre avec rien de tout ça, au 1er étage escalier très étroit, il y faisait polaire, toiles d araignées visiblement pas nettoyée, un nid de cheveux dans la bonde de la baignoire dont le bouchon ne tient pas l eau, papier peint décollé à plusieurs endroits, lampes dont l ampoule sont à remplacer, et il faisait tellement froid dans la salle à manger ce matin, que j'ai refusé le petit déjeuner !!! J en ai parlé à la propriétaire elle n a fait aucun geste !!! Qu'elle honte, il faudrait vraiment que ces établissements soient soumis aux mêmes règles que les hôtels auberges, etc...

Un voyage dans le passé dans un cadre magnifique.

It is a real chateau, preserved and in its original state. This means lots of history. You are a guest of the same family that built it in 1781... So do not expect lavish luxury, but talk to the current caretaker with his wife (baron and baronesse). The grounds are amazing, it is private property and you can walk for hours. The house is in its original state, when central heating and running hot water were a real luxury. So it is a bed and breakfast++ kind people and a great experience. Just remember they live there and try to preserve their house and heritage. Everything in it has a story, and Betrand is willing to share it.

L'exploitation a commencé il y a un an et nous avons dormi dans une chambre rénovée dans l'orangerie du château. Nous sommes tombés sous le charme du domaine. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et nous avons ressenti la passion des exploitants et la volonté de développer le domaine. Il y règne un grand calme avec des nuits dans un silence absolu. C'est un véritable coup de coeur et nous avons hâte d'y retourner pour constater l'évolution du lieu.

We had a wonderful stay at Chateau de Bressey. Catherine and Bertrand are very kind hosts who made sure we had everything we needed. It is a 20min ride from Dijon downtown and vineyards.Chateau itself has a good long story, and hosts were always eager to share a piece of history with us. Rooms were comfortable and in an old historic style surrounded by nature. The estate is big enough to host a large group - suitable for weddings, company off-sites, or team building retreats. The territory is large for a nice morning run or just an afternoon walk.Breakfast is included with the stay which is very convenient to get the day started. They buy pastries and bread from an artisanal bakery nearby and it is always fresh.I would totally come back here again.

Cadre merveilleux et très calme,hôtes très conviviaux,chambres impeccable

Superbe château avec un propriétaire très très accueillant et passionné d histoire. Nous avons passé une agréable séjour. Bertrand nous a accueillis comme si nous étions des amis. Nous reviendrons.
