Will and Jasmine are the perfect hosts of this beautiful house. Never before have we stayed somewhere where the hosts have been so helpful and truly care about their guests.Breakfast is exceptional, the rooms are very tastefully decorated and if you decide to dine with your hosts, the food is amazing.The village is only a short walk from the house across the river that also has bars and restaurants.We will certainly return and cannot recommend Le Palais highly enough

Le Palais is a wonderful place and together with Will & Jasmine, it becomes magical. Everything about our holiday was pitch perfect… a beautiful setting, fantastic rooms, incredible hosts, delicious food & drinks.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille au Palais, chez Jasmine et Will. Le Palais est superbe, rénové avec beaucoup de goût et beaucoup d'amour cela se sent ! Le site est à quelques minutes à pied du charmant petit village de Verteuil, petit mais très animé !Le palais est un véritable havre de paix, de sérénité... Jasmine et Will sont des hôtes tellement accueilants et gentils ! Ils sont au petits soins, tellement arrangeants, très compréhensifs (nous etions 4 avec une petite de 8 ans et un petit clown de 2ans et demi !). Ils connaissent parfaitement le village et les alentours et sont de très bon conseils ! Nous avons eu la chance de manger chez eux 2 soirs, dont un repas partagé avec eux dont je garde un très bon souvenir ! Jasmine et Will sont authentiques et passionnés et tellement gentils, quel moment agréable nous avons passé! Une belle rencontre qui n'a fait que rendre encore plus chaleureux notre sejour chez eux, au point de se sentir comme chez soi !Et tout ceci sans parler des repas et des petits déjeuners à tomber !! Jasmine propose tous les jours des petits dejeuners différents, avec une cuisine goûteuse et qui met en avant les produits locaux, un délice ! En un mot, merci Jasmine et Will d'avoir embelli nos vacances !! Au plaisir de vous revoir.

William and Jasmine were the perfect hosts during our all too brief stay at Le Palais, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was first class, beautifully decorated, with superb attention to detail throughout. We enjoyed a fabulous evening meal on the terrace, complimented by a lovely breakfast the following morning. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

This place has got be visited to believe how fantastic the accommodation, location and the hosts Will and Jasmine are. We had an unforgettable 4 night stay at Le Palais in May. Will & Jasmine have done an amazing job on the restoration and the stunning interior and exterior spaces have been very thoughtfully and tastefully refurbished.As hosts, they continue to raise the bar in terms of hospitality and attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble, Jasmine’s cooking was amazing and Will ensured that the Rosé continued to flow.We will definitely be returning.

Avons passé une fête de famille au Palais en mai, la demeure est vraiment très belle et rénovée avec beaucoup de goût, la cuisine est absolument délicieuse et le service est assuré avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de professionnalisme par Jasmine et William.A ne pas manquer vaut vraiment la peine de s'y arrêter.

We heard from friends that a couple who had hospitality businesses in south Devon, had, about 3 years ago, bought a hotel in the Charente, just north of Angouleme and only about an hour from where we live further south.As it was our 45th Wedding Anniversary, I decided to book for 3 nights over the weekend and give it a go. The website shows the appeal of the placeWe were warmly greeted by Will and Jasmine and shown to a beautiful room on the second floor - The Luxury Attic Suite. The room was large, comfortable and also benefitted from a luxurious double shower en suite.They showed us around the whole property which has been tastefully renovated throughout. We felt right at home immediatelyIt was not difficult to see that Will and Jasmine have worked incredibly hard to create a wonderful property and are now working equally as hard to ensure guests are looked after to the highest standards.Nothing is too much trouble for them, they go above and beyond not just recommending local places to eat, drink and visit but booking them too.On the Saturday evening Jasmine cooked a beautiful 5 course anniversary dinner for us which we ate on the stunning pool terrace. Suffice to say that she is an excellent chef and Will backs up making sure we have everything we need. Each morning a bespoke breakfast is served on the pool terrace and the main course changes daily but of course if you want something different, they will provide it.The honesty bar works brilliantly and there is an excellent choice of soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits from the snug bar or large refridgerator on the terrace.Stunning views of the village and chateau, stunning property andf stunning hospitality.Well done to Will and Jasmine - they deserve every success and we will return without doubt.
