Brasserie Le Bourbon
So I actually visited on a Sunday and I feel as if that’s the reason the menu was condensed. I was expecting to see some of the options I read in the other reviews but there was only brunch items available. I’m not a breakfast person so I skipped on food and had a couple of glasses of wine. The servers were so kind and the wine options were vast. There’s a lot of seating and the staff really supports each other so I never wanted for anything not for a moment. I sat right next to the outside so it was very relaxing.

I really really really love this place. You can get such a high-quality meal for a pretty average price for what you're getting. I got a great steak bavette, that was 18€!! this is honestly one of my favorite places to go because you're getting such a great deal if you get the steak Frites with a glass of red wine. I brought my little brother there as he was visiting me, and he said that it was one of his favorite places that he had been to on the entire trip.Rerating this place because they have completely upped their customer service!! Such nice waitstaff and the food remains delicious. I got the poulet fermier with mashed potatoes to aide my hangover and it completely helped. I then got a café gourmand to help me with getting ready to go to work. SO GOOD. Please come to this brasserie!

Excellent food and service, a hidden gem, recommendedA charming little brasseries on a plaza facing the National Assembly and the Obelisk of Place de la Concorde in 7th Arrondissement. The dining room was close and cozy as are many cafes but a classic wood bar and décor. An enclosed sun room or patio and café tables on the sidewalk were available as well. On a busy square but service was timely and attentive. Ate here several times, a hidden gem. There is a prepared menu as well as daily specials for lunch and dinner. One special was a seared veal chop in a white wine, cream and veal stock reduction with fresh tagliatelle and mushrooms. Nice char and seasoning on the veal done to a medium rare, sauce was very good complementing the meat and the pasta. Another special was a tender sirloin grilled to a perfect rare as requested with a Bleu d Auvergne sauce. Both came with a small fresh, crisp side salad in Dijon vinaigrette, slices of warm baguette. While waiting on the meal, bread and a bowl of black and green olives with herbs de provence helped whet the appetite. Everything was very good. We ate in the sunroom where the tables were rather close. For dinner we started with a gamay, Fleurie from Chateau de la Chaize. Smooth finish, nice body. The olives were on the table again. For starters, the Onion Soup was traditional, beefy, full of onions with a crown of gruyere. The escargot were large, tender and the butter full of herbs and garlic. Very nice. The Free-Range Chicken in Tarragon Sauce was a little dry even with the sauce and the mixed vegetable side was overdone and soft. The staff was very accommodating and replaced the meal with a more tender plate of chicken and a side of fresh mashed potatoes that were very hearty, farmhouse style (well-seasoned, lots of butter). The Duck Confit was tender and ample with crisp frites and a side salad in vinaigrette. Simple but good.Another meal started with different appetizers. The Asparagus Soup was rich, creamy full of pureed asparagus and pieces topped with crisp croutons. The Rabbit Terrine was a chunky, meaty, herb filled terrine with a sweet/sour onion compote. Both very good, worth ordering again. The entrée was two large slices of tender veal liver seared crisp with a juicy interior with a raspberry coulis , frites and a side salad. The sides good, the liver, excellent.Staff was accommodating, efficient and friendly. Had a conversation with the owners who were seated next to us. Recommend making reservations for dinner.

My family from the USA, 3 kids and 3 adults, ages 9 to 74 all enjoyed our lunch here very much. I had the Croque Madame and it was delicious. The atmosphere and service were wonderful. We accidentally left a little rolled up painting wrapped up in paper behind, which ended up in the trash. When I came back to look for it, our waiter actually searched for and retrieved it for me. So very kind of him.

We visited here on the first Sunday if September. Food was exemplary. Terrine was awesome, onion soup was beyond amazing and the Tagliatelle with Salmon was one level above perfection. Service is awesome and quick, waiters are nicer than most french restaurants, the vibe is amazing. No wait as we got here at exactly 12 and there’s nothing to complain about. We payed 60€ for three starters a drink and a main plate. Beautiful

This is a good cafe in the middle of several major attractions. We ordered a pasta and a main course (cow kidney) for the lunch. The service was very fast and the waiters are polite and honest. No extra charge for water or tips or other traps that we heard from YouTube. The food is good and we can recommend it to others visiting this area.

Bonne cuisine ! Personnel très professionnel. Assiette bien présentée ! Plats un peu cher mais au vue du quartier, on peut comprendre.

Not the best experience - we ordered food and got different, and the service claimed that's what we ordered - I'm pretty sure I would know if I ordered liver instead of steak. But no discussion.I mean, the food was not totally horrible, but not really our taste.I was however very upset about the service, that's not really fair. Not to mention it was white overpriced.

I went to this Brasserie after touring the Assemble Nationale; it's very close. They seated me immediately when I got there and took my order. I asked for tap water and they bought it in a carafe. The waiters were all very nice. I also really enjoyed the food. I got french onion soup, pan seared sea bass, and a strawberry cake. It was all very good. Pretty solid choice for a meal.
