Horse in the City

Magical ride at Versailles! After giving me tea and chocolate croissants, Baptiste introduced me to Cambueil. Cambueil was in incredibly good shape, and we went through the grounds for over three hours. Baptiste explained what happened on the grounds and told funny historical stories while we were walking. We were out for so long I was worried my legs were going to be sore from the two point in the canter. Luckily, I was provided with a restorative snack of wine, cheese and bread so I was able to recover.Couldn't recommend this company enough!

Première expérience hippique formidable. Baptiste est un excellent coach qui vous met en confiance tout de suite, très pédagogue. Petit déjeuner avant de partir dans le Parc de Saint-Cloud, géniale ballade au pas, au trot et au galop de deux heures puis apéritif convivial... Baptiste m'a vraiment donné envie de refaire du cheval, ce qui ne devrait pas tarder (Deauville sur la plage soon...). À découvrir impérativement !

My dad and I went for a ride with Baptiste around the grounds of Versailles and had a magical experience. We’re both advanced riders so we’re often reluctant to ride places where we think we’ll get bored with the pace, but the promise of the beautiful scenery was enough to make us take the risk. Turns out there was no reason for the reluctance: Baptiste was an amazing host and extremely receptive to our preferences! Upon our request, were able to run the horses quite a bit and, when I was ready to drop to a walk, we did that. Baptiste was knowledgeable, charming, attentive, and an all around good time. I cannot recommend Horse in the City enough and highly encourage you to do it, whether you’re looking for an exhilarating experience or a slow, leisurely trip of taking in the gorgeous grounds. Please tell Baptiste I said hello!

We had an absolutely amazing experience riding on the Versailles palace grounds. Our ride was one of the top highlights of our trip to France. Baptiste is a phenomenal guide with wonderful horses. I have been on a lot of trail rides while on vacation and this was hands down the best. I'm an experienced rider but my boyfriend is not. Baptiste made him feel very comfortable and gave him the confidence to trust his horse at the trot and canter. We also really enjoyed the wine, bread, and cheese post ride. It was a fantastic day and I highly recommend booking with Baptiste.

Fantastic! My teenage daughter is an experienced rider and was hoping for an advanced ride - and she was thrilled when her guide Anna tailored the experience to her skill level. The horses were kind and healthy. Afterwards we were treated to a delicious picnic in the park. The entire experience was A++. Thank you! Fantastic experience riding on the Versailles palace grounds. We had perfect weather and I really liked our guide Baptiste because he was relaxed and fun and it was enjoyable even though my husband and I have different riding experience. He was taking English lessons a couple months before hand and that helped immensely. This was the highlight of my trip to France and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Great ride through Versailles. Lovely, healthy horses. We enjoyed the weather and sights. Baptiste was friendly, accommodating, and easy to communicate with.

Expérience inoubliable !Vous pouvez faire confiance les yeux fermés à Baptiste et son entreprise.Cela vous donne accès à des superbes balades dans des endroits magiques (Versailles, Boulogne, Saint Cloud ...).Les chevaux sont bien soignés et adaptés aux cavaliers.Le matériel est en parfait état et bien entretenu.Le fait de ne jamais avoir fait de cheval n'est pas un souci.Il y a une collation avant et après la balade.Vous en garderez forcément un super souvenir

My daughter and I had an amazing ride at Versailles with Baptiste during our trip to Paris for April break. My daughter is an experienced rider and passionate about horses, so our morning with Baptiste was absolutely the highlight of her trip. Baptiste is an excellent, patient guide, and his horses are all very well trained and well cared for. Our route at Versailles was absolutely stunning and a very welcome escape from the Paris crowds. Far, far better than the typical trail ride, and an experience that my daughter will never forget. Thank you Baptiste!
