My Private Paris

My Private Paris set up our full day tour to Versailles perfectly! We were greeted by our guide Laure (Lo) and her driver at our hotel right on time. On our drive, she gave us a bit of history on what was to come. When we arrived, everything was prepared and we zipped through the lines to start the tour. We had a great time and Lo was very knowledgeable about the history and art at Versailles. She was a very fun and interesting tour guide and my husband and I wished we had more time to tour with her in Paris. Next time I hope!!!!

We were planning to skip the Louvre as crowds and sheer vastness of the grand museum seemed like it would be a stressful endeavor, but thankfully we saw Les Frenchies’ recommendation of My Private Paris and decided to bite the bullet and opt for this once in a lifetime visit in the right way! And boy we were so glad we did. We booked what we considered was a manageable 3 hour tour for “non-artsy” people like us, and were assigned Humberto as our guide. And Humberto was perfect! He navigated us right past the long entry lines and skipped past the overcrowded corridors to view underrated, awe-inspiring hidden gems in the museum. Humberto is a historian at heart - the perspective and context he provided behind each piece of art had us captured. He was able to answer all of our questions about French art and history, delving into the dramas of the monarchical eras, and would even humor us when we had off topic questions about current life in Paris. My Private Paris is definitely not the cheapest tour on Viator, but the value of having a highly experienced and personable tour guide as a companion all to ourselves was totally worth it. This cultural deep dive was not only forever memorable but has opened our minds to be curious for more. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend My Private Paris if you are looking for a guided tour service for a trip to Paris. We are a family of 4 that had only 1 day in Paris - so we wanted to really optimize our time there & hit the highlights. Manon was great to communicate & coordinate with and designed an appropriate experience for us. Our tour guide Ludivine was super knowledgeable & such a pleasure to be with for the few hours we were there. The booking process was easy with clear and timely communication. Coordination with the tour guide on the day of was also super easy. The tour included a clean car & driver (with water bottles!) and the tour guide & driver communicated well with each other. Overall a seamless and enjoyable experience.

We traveled to Paris in March 2023 for my daughter's Sweet 16 and used My Private Paris for several tours that week. They were amazing! We loved our tour guides and felt that we got so much more out of our trip because of their tours. The information that they had to share with us was enlightening and entertaining. I highly recommend them!

Charlotte, Elliot, & Christina made us feel like family and locals, too! My first time in Paris was an awesome experience! We felt like we were being shown the ropes personally by family. We were able to navigate, successfully, like locals afterwards. We even found a favorite haunt, we became regulars, and like the tv show 'Cheers,' everyone knew our name. It gets no better!

Lucien took us on a Napoleon and Josephine tour.... he was incredibly knowledgeable and it was an amazing experience. We were able to get into all of the museums and areas without waiting and see so much! It was the highlight of our trip to Paris.

Our tour with Audrey of the Paris Highlights and Arc de Triomphe was AMAZING!!!!! We were picked up by our private transport and driven by Rethy- who was also wonderful! Audrey took us to all of the highlights of Paris including Sacred Heart cathedral and the breathtaking area surrounding it. Audrey gave us tons of facts and information that we didn't know! We also had some delicious treats at the Galleries Lafayette. Audrey had us all pumped up and ready to climb the Arc de Triomphe- we went to the top and saw the magnificent views of Paris! We also had Christina with the Black Paris Tour- she was wonderful too and super informative! And Lee our driver was great! Alexandre planned our trip to perfection- thank you Alex!
