Camping Municipal Violanes

Super site spacieux, calme et très propre, idéal pour la pêche avec la présence d'un garde qui surveille discrètement. Le parking est grand sans être trop éloigné. L'établissement, qui fait des repas, est fermé pour cause de Covid-19. Vivement la réouverture car on y mange très bien. Non loin des étangs, il y a un petit camping qui permet de venir passer le week-end. Je recommande.

Petit camping municipal (12places) calme . Super accueil, malgré notre arrivée le jour de fermeture du bar , restaurant (mardi). Sanitaires très propres, fermés à clé pour l'unique usage des campeurs. Étang de pêche. Juste la lumière des lampadaires qui est très forte .

I can’t agree with other reviews unfortunately. We were greeted by unfriendly stares by all that were sat in the bar. There were men stood at the bar mocking us because our French was limited. Chantal spoke no French. One of the customers did some basic translating in amongst the mocking.We secured a pitch with electric for the night at 14 euros and were told where we could stay. The pitches are not level although are a decent size. Each has its own hook up point. The water taps are dispersed between pitches.We were given a key to access the toilets and showers. They were not the quality described in other reviews. No toilet roll, no hand towels but there was soap! The bins had not been emptied and there was a dubious smear of something on one wall of the ladies toilet. The showers weren’t clean, the floor didn’t look like it had been shown any kind of cleaner for a long time. The men’s shower was too hot to be comfortable and not adjustable - the disabled one was though. Drainage was terrible in both men and women’s showers - my mum was watching the water come back up through the drain as she was showering! Keep your flip flops on!The site is on a road that gets busy as the day begins. Just a small wooden flimsy barrier separates the site from the road. We were on the best pitch out of two to pick from and it was road side. The site is also used by anglers so lots of vehicles come and go.We didn’t eat in the brasserie - it didn’t seem very inviting, nor was it set up to look like somewhere that provided food. Random veg for sale, old and faded pocket money toys piled up, plates stacked and cutlery wrapped in paper napkins were all jumbled up at the entrance to the brasserie.We couldn’t see anywhere to empty grey waste or an elson point at all. I don’t know what the other caravans did. We were in a motor home.There didn’t appear to be anywhere local to walk to for food or drinks and since we hadn’t had a warm welcome on arrival we didn’t feel like we could sit in the brasserie. When I say brasserie I mean a small marquee with tables covered in plastic dotted about, a small bar with Leffe on draft and a fridge of cold drinks.Don’t be fooled by the photos from Google street view - a lot has changed since they were taken. It almost felt like the site hadn’t been looked after for a long time!We coped for a night and needed a shower. If we weren’t so tired from travelling we would have sacrificed the 14 euros and moved on. Seek better options if you’re able to!

Accueil sympathique. Les sanitaires sont assez propres. Les emplacements mériteraient un peu plus d'entretien et un petit coup de débroussailleuse (bidons sous les haies, papiers sur les emplacements, grandes herbes ) Dommage enfin d'avoir installé un camping près de la station d'épuration!

Super petit camping les gens sont charmants un seul bémol que jai signalé à la patronne à 6h30 du matin les pêcheurs attendaient devant la porte pour rentrer aux étangs alors là c'est odeur de cigarette il parlait à tu tete mais je vous conseille comme vous conseille quand même le camping

Propriétaire souriant, aimable. Sanitaires propre et il y a du papier toilette, quand on voit que dans des 3 étoiles il n'y en a pas, je dis bravo à ce camping municipal. Grande douche. Animaux acceptés. Prise européenne. Snack ouvert le 12h et bar la journée.Je recommande. Penser à réserver, moi je passer dans le coin j'ai eu de la chance pour une nuit.

Nous avons passé une journée à la pêche à la truite, bon endroit très calme et assez ombragéLe seul bémol si vous voulez mangez une frite à emporter, c'est priorité à ceux qui mangent sur place, il faut réserver très longtemps avant car beaucoup d'attente.Sinon les frites étaient délicieuses et servis largement trop généreusement.

Pour les pêcheurs, 2 offres, pêche au blanc et pêche à la truite. Plusieurs barbecues en pierres sont à la disposition des accompagnant. Beaucoup d'endroit ombragés et tables de pique-nique. Bar et restaurant sur place. La patronne est très sympa .

Camping très bien conçu emplacement privé eau électricité bâtiment sanitaires tout neuf chauffé avec acces personnes handicapées très bon accueuil.
